Biography of Victor Sheverda

Victor Sheverda is a Construction Project Manager located in the Greater Denver Area, where he leads a range of commercial construction projects from initial pre-construction planning to final closeout. With a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and a Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification, he applies industry-standard practices to ensure each project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest professional standards. The PMP® credential reflects his structured and organized approach, and he blends his formal education with practical field experience to deliver projects that meet or exceed client expectations.
His introduction to the construction industry began with hands-on experience at his family’s business, which specialized in building custom-spec residential homes. That company utilized Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) construction technology, focusing on energy efficiency, structural durability, and resistance to fire, pests, natural elements, and decay. This early exposure helped him understand the value of sustainable construction practices. The knowledge gained during those formative years has influenced his long-term commitment to environmentally responsible building.
Following several internships during college, he began working full-time in the commercial construction industry. His career progressed quickly, and he moved into an Assistant Project Manager role at a leading general contractor in Colorado. In this capacity, he manages subcontractor relationships, oversees project schedules, monitors costs, and ensures alignment
In 2022, he accepted the role of Assistant Project Manager. His responsibilities include overseeing subcontractor scope execution, coordinating procurement schedules, and ensuring all project elements align with original baseline plans. He is recognized for his thorough documentation and ability to maintain project progress through well-organized schedules and clear communication. His contributions help ensure that all contractual obligations are met and that each project proceeds smoothly from start to finish.
Two of the many projects he has supported stand out as defining achievements. One is his role in the historical preservation of the U.S. Capitol, where he assisted in maintaining one of the nation’s most significant buildings. The other is the NCAR-Wyoming Supercomputing Center (NWSC), a three-story facility encompassing 170,982 square feet. Both projects reflect his ability to work on technically challenging and high-profile developments, balancing precision with the demands of large-scale execution.
A Life Adventurist
Outside of construction, he leads an active lifestyle centered around outdoor exploration and physical fitness. He supports conservation efforts through his involvement with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and enjoys hiking and mountaineering. He has climbed many of Colorado’s 14,000foot peaks and completed challenging trails in Hawaii, Colorado, and New Mexico. These experiences reflect his appreciation for nature and personal endurance.
He remains dedicated to fitness and discipline through activities such as Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, boxing, skiing, and weightlifting. His interest in travel often includes visits to places with historical significance or unique natural features. Whether climbing mountains or managing construction teams, he brings a focused, disciplined, and resilient mindset to everything he does.
