Who is Minister Stacy-Ann?

Minister Stacy-Ann Garvey is a 37 year old author, speaker, coach, conference host and minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She is from the beautiful island of Jamaica and she gave her life to the Lord in 2011 while behind the walls of The Fort Augusta Adult Correctional Centre where she was serving a prison sentence.

Her story is one of a mess that God turned into a miracle through her surrender and total dedication to the Holy Spirit for his Glory.

Stacy-Ann has been chosen and qualified by God to tell others of Jesus Christ; the hope of His salvation that brought true transformation to her life. Her story is one that brings hope to those who have been afflicted and cast aside by society.

Resurrected Garvey She is the visionary behind Resurrected Garvey Ministries and is currently a member of Light of the Gentiles International Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Dean Smith and Prophetess Sarah Smith, where she serves as an usher, a minister and leads the singles ministry.

Stacy-Ann is a conqueror whose story of survival is a testimony to many. Her life has been blessed and as a recipient of God’s Grace of restoration and favour. She uses her testimonies of overcoming great adversities and being rejected by family, friends and society, to empower and spread the Word of God to those greatest in need through Resurrected Garvey Ministries.

Sola Scriptura Her motto is Sola - Scriptura which is the Spanish for Scripture Alone and this is the foundation on which her life stands. She is a generation-changer telling the world, “DO NOT LET THE DEVIL WRITE AND END YOUR STORY.”

She is also the single mother of two handsome boys: Kemar Goldson and Zane-Sanniah Johnson.

In March 2010 at the age of 27, months away from my 28th birthday, I ended up in Fort Augusta Adult Correctional Centre in Jamaica, still pregnant with a baby that I had “aborted”.

At this time in my life I was numb, dead and decomposing on the inside. I just didn’t want to live. I was suicidal, a drug addict, an alcoholic and just making up a number in society because then I believed that I served no purpose.

The depression that I was experiencing for over 10 years had slowly destroyed everything in and about me. I was already a mother of a son that I neglected because I didn’t know how to be a mother. So many things had happened throughout the ten years leading up to prison.

Today my name is Minister Stacy-Ann Garvey otherwise called Resurrected Garvey. I got a second chance to be a mother to my sons. God took my messy story and turned it into a powerful message of transformation.

One day a lady in prison came to me and asked, "What would have been your answer to God if you had successfully killed His prophet inside your belly?"

My response to her was tears and I could not believe that God would really consider my womb to bring a prophet into the earth. I repented and asked the Lord's forgiveness.

I made a vow to never commit another abortion. I had a healthy baby boy that I kept with me for almost 9 months which was strictly the favour of God and then I sent him home. Â I received a 10-year prison sentence and so I decided to do my time with God and receive transformation and rehabilitation. I ended up only serving almost half of the the sentence and was released early on parole. During that time I considered myself to be serving a sentence as a free woman because God had set me free from the mental prison of the enemy in which I had been locked up for many years.

BE FREE & TESTIFY

SOMEONE'S FREEDOM DEPENDS ON YOUR STORY There are some who never get a chance to have the Cinderella story. Some of us have had some not so pleasing lifestyles just like the woman at the well and the thief beside Jesus while He was on the cross.

No matter what path we take or whatever path life plunges on to, one thing I have recognised over the years is that life is amazing! We must learn to take joy in the fact that the One who created us has already written out a destiny for us even before we were born.

Jeremiah 29: 11 states, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Growing up we were cultured to do the right thing and try to be good little girls. The reward would probably be something like a sweet but the biggest issue is that we were never taught the consequence of doing wrong in God's sight. Of course sin is something we can never escape because we live in a fallen world but they forgot to tell us about the negative outcomes of sin and the redemption which is there for all through the blood of Jesus Christ. Without this knowledge Satan takes the opportunity to launch a number of dangerous weapons towards our lives.

If we catch the real message of this Scripture we would be able to take every single experience and make the best of it.

I have found over the years that one of the weapons that the enemy uses against our minds is condemnation. This causes us to remain with feelings of guilt and this keeps us in silence because we begin to fear what people will think of us and also how people will treat us if they ever knew about our mistakes.

It really is all because of how we were cultured where condemnation and sentencing is the normal result of wrong doings and because of bad judgment or just curiosity many end up imprisoned in their minds by things and situations that they should be free.

What is an imprisoned mind? An imprisoned mind is a dark, limited and powerless mind.

Just imagine for a minute: a person is behind bars being locked down every single day, only being able to see a glimpse of outside by looking through iron bars while contained within the same four walls day after day.

To receive freedom from the imprisoned mind we must be able to capitalise on the negative situations that we experience. That's exactly what the saying "when life gives you lemons, make lemonade", is instructing us to do.

This is why I love Romans 8:28 so much, because this Scripture says: And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Just think of a messy prison story turning out to be an incredibly amazing redemption legacy.

James 1:2-3 reads: My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

This Scripture encourages us to understand that the things that God allowed us to go through were there to pull out what God has placed inside of us. We go through things so that we can grow and mature in order for God to use us. If you were never placed in a situation that required you to be strong then you would never know just how strong you are.

Many fail to see that they were chosen for the journey of failure so that through their failure God's power could be revealed. Remember that with God nothing is ever as it seems. If you were chosen to fail at some time in life, it is because you have been also chosen to win to show the true power of God. The book of Job is the evidence of this.

This type of physical limitation has the ability to put an extremely heavy weight on the mind. This is why I always say that it takes a really strong person to survive incarceration. I never condone anyone's wrongdoings but I am still giving credit to the inmates who have survived the lock down and didn’t die mentally.

It takes strength and guts to survive while on the road to recovery in prison especially when you are limited and quarantined even with the food. Normal necessities that the world enjoys daily become off-limits to an inmate.

I give this example to say: if you went through the mess and were brave enough to survive it, then you have a story that will help others successfully go through it as well. Because of your experience you automatically have the permission and qualification to speak about it so that others can be delivered from the same.

Jesus Christ considered it a privilege to bare our sins and shame and take it on the cross for us. It is therefore time to see the pain we experience as a privilege that God granted us so that through our testimony others may come to know Him and be delivered from the imprisoned situations.

There are many souls waiting on your story so that they can endure what they are going through and come out as survivors.

Refuse to be silent and refuse to be ashamed about who you were. It's not who you are today or who you were created to be. Your cracks, mess and scars were and are necessary for many to receive deliverance.

Someone is waiting to hear about your triumph so that hope, faith and expectations can come alive and restore them again. If you are afraid to speak and testify about what you have been through it means that you are still bound by it.

My message to you today is that your pain is wealth. Stop being afraid to embrace it and talk about it. Make a bold declaration that no matter how messy the mess was you will not be silent!!

The Lord took 5 years to prepare me for the Prison Break Conference. God ensured that I was processed and faithfully serving even whilst spiritually and emotionally bleeding, before He trusted me enough to give me a ministry to lead.

During those years I faced church hurts, issues in my soul, anger, bitterness, unforgiveness, pain, hunger and embarrassing situations, just to prepare me for something I didn't even know was coming. I remember going through all of that and receiving prophecy about being in ministry, delivering conferences and being aligned with destiny helpers to push me into destiny.

IT'S A REAL EXPERIENCE At that time I was also a total mess financially. I lost my job, my little car and was told that I must leave the house I was living in because I was behind in rent for months. This was the most painful season of my life yet, God was telling me to push so that the baby of ministry could be birthed.

It didn't stop there. I became sick to the point where I thought that I was going to lose my life. I started getting attacked by witchcraft. Even in my sleep there was warfare as demons came after me every night and at one point I could hardly walk.

But with all of that the Lord kept saying, "Push, keep serving and going to church."

He was telling me to continue performing my duties as a leader in church and stay in prayer. I was weak and barely making it but God was there. I was never alone because God provided awesome loving genuine leaders and prayer partners who held my hand through the entire process.

So on January 18, 2020 Prison Break Conference became a royal reality that erupted and affected Jamaica. Lives were transformed. And over 200-300 persons attended throughout the 3 sessions of the conference.

It became

a real experience

as people emptied themselves of the baggage they had been carrying for years which had

locked them in a mental prison.

Since then persons have reached out to me privately and have shared many testimonies about things which had been holding them bound and through the conference experience they became free. Some expressed that they are now allowing God to turn their embarrassing mistakes around for good and are well on the road to destiny. This was all God's doings and I am still in shock about the way God did all of this.

IT'S A MOVEMENT Prison Break Conference is a Movement. The Lord has now opened the door for us to visit the South Camp Adult Correctional Centre in Kingston, Jamaica. We were supposed to be there on March 25-26 but unfortunately due to the COVID-19 pandemic we have been placed on standby until the situation changes. I am sure that the inmates are going to need our assistance more than ever after this pandemic.

We are still seeking donations and contributions towards this project.

We grew up hearing and believing that prison was just a physical structure for hard core criminals that were coldhearted, heartless animals who deserve to rot in hell; until I went there. Having been imprisoned it really hit me that not only those behind bars are without freedom. I discovered that there are some who, although they are physically free, are some of the greatest prisoners serving mental, emotional and spiritual life sentences.

My Prison Break is a book that will expose the real prison that

many are afraid of. It uncovers the life I lived in the past, the raw truth about the struggles that kept me bound that I later discovered were just meant to be a tool to destiny. The book will show you just how powerful and valuable your mess, pains and failures can be. The book will enable persons to understand how powerful exposing and facing your truth can be, no matter how horrible it is.

This book is a tell-all that will encourage many to no longer be silent but to speak in order to be delivered, become fully free and transformed.

The book is presently in the hands of the publisher Daylight Publishers Crystal Daye and is scheduled to be available to readers in the summer of 2020
