Welcome TO THE BEGINNING OF YOUR NEW JOURNEY TO BIRTHING DIVINE PURPOSE The journey to purpose is a journey where you seek through relationship with God to get to know Him and why He created you.

This 5-Day journal has been designed to get you started on the journey of purpose with daily prayers to help you engage God about your purpose.

As you go through each day, may God open your eyes to the call of God on your life and transform every area of your entire being. May you develop a passion and desire to be all that God created you to be.

At the end of this devotional I have shared my book called: BIRTHING THE PURPOSE GOD HAS PLACED IN YOU. This is a 30 week journal which has been designed to help you dig deeper and get where God needs you to be on the road of divine purpose.

Day 1: Ask God for Forgiveness For Sin Committed We spend so much time being distracted by all sorts of things. We have neglected God in so many ways by not seeking to be all that He created us to be. As you start on this journey of birthing the purpose that God has placed in you, you must begin with a clean slate.

So many things and people have taken position in our lives as idols and gods and for this we must ask God's forgiveness for not being on a focused track.

As you repent, you are making the decision to make a 180 degree turn in the opposite direction. Once you repent with a pure heart, you position your life for God to have His perfect way in you so that He can mold you into who He wants you to be, and so that His glory can be seen through your entire life.

STUDY SCRIPTURE If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1 John 1:9 (KJV)

Day 2: Ask God To Reveal The Hindrances In Your Life

There are so many things that can hold you back from walking in God's purpose. These include: attitudes, mindsets, negative words spoken by others over your life, low self esteem, fear, anger, unforgiveness, bad influences from others, past hurts and so much more.

God sees all and knows all and because there is nothing too hard for Him to do, ask Him to show you what hindrances may be stopping you from being all that He has called you to be.

As He reveals them, ask Him to help you remove them from your life. Then watch God transform everything about you for His glory.

STUDY SCRIPTURE The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

John 10:10 (KJV)

Day 3: Ask God To Reveal His Special Plan For Your Life

Before you were born God thought of you.

When He thought of you He made a decision to appoint you to do something great on the earth.

You may not believe it, but it is true!

You are not alive to simply exist. Ask God to reveal His specific plan for you. Ask Him to reveal your unique passions, talents and gifts and ask Him to show you the specific blueprint for how He wants you to showcase His love, power and glory based on who He created you to be.

STUDY SCRIPTURE Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Jeremiah 1:5 (KJV)

Day 4: Ask God For A Heart of Obedience

As God continues to reveal the greatness inside of you as His child, ask Him to help you remain obedient in all that you do.

God will answer when we call on Him but very often when He gives direction and instruction it is our disobedience that destroys us and our purpose.

Disobedience stops us from moving when God says move and going where God sends us. The woman or man on purpose for God clings dearly to God's instructions and does everything that God wants done, knowing that it is not about her or his personal gain but more so about what God wants to do through them.

STUDY SCRIPTURE If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: Isaiah 1:9 (KJV)

Day 5: Ask God For A Heart of Love

A heart of love keeps you focused on the plans that God has for you. If you love the purpose for which God made you then you will always be willing and ready to execute that purpose.

A heart of love keeps you diligent and determined to keep going and reaching for the skies in the purpose of God. A heart of love is dedication to His purpose.

Ask God for a heart of love for your purpose and for Him as well, so that you can become everything that He needs you to be in this time and season.

STUDY SCRIPTURE By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
