Dear Sisters,

In July, I celebrated 10 years with the Danish Sisterhood. In my 10 years with the organization, I have seen a lot of things change. While there have been many changes, the traditional elements have remained in tact. I think the one thing that we can work to change more is complacency. We cannot keep our organization going by being complacent and not getting involved. It's important for each of us to step up and do what we can to help our organization survive, and more importantly, thrive. I understand how life can get busy with family, friends, and work. It's important to find a good balance with involvement in the Sisterhood and part of that is making sure that everyone is doing their part. Do you have an event coming up in your lodge? See if the organizer needs some assistance! Do you have a story to share? Send it on to your favorite DSN. Have you been taking too much on? Make concrete asks of support from your fellow sisters. See a fun get together coming up? Put it on the calendar and bring a friend! It takes all of us and many different levels of involvement and support to keep the Sisterhood going. I hope you are all doing well and enjoying the end of summer. Please send along your stories, photos, and more to the DSN!
