Sustainability We are proud to have commenced and embraced the journey to be a more sustainable organization to preserve our planet for future generations. Our Major Lighting supplier - VIBE Lighting, has recently joined Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation Ltd (APCO) and are rolling out the ARL (Australian Recycling Label) recycling icons on all of their products. These icons provide clear consistent on-pack recycling information to inform our consumers of the correct disposal method - thus removing confusion, educating and reducing waste. In addition to the use of ARL Logo’s we have implemented a Sustainability Target with a commitment to decrease our carbon footprint in these following areas; • Hardware - Lamps, Light fittings and fixtures, materials and accessories. • Consumables - Printing, Inks, paper and event consumables. • Packaging - Boxes, shrink wrap, bubble wrap and shredding. • Waste - signage on all onsite bins.

Ethical Sourcing We can confirm that we have policies in place to mitigate and address any risks of modern slavery in our statewide operations, both international & local procurement of our products and throughout our entire supply chain. We undertake thorough administrative due diligence and verbal assessment prior to onboarding any stakeholders. International stakeholders must additionally verify that they are BSCI audited & certified. (The BSCI initiative monitors & mitigate risks annually within our supply chain to make certain that all suppliers are treating workers ethically and legally.) In addition, we visit our international manufacturers annually to decrease potential risk and ensure compliance.

We are equipped with a highly experienced Production Team on-site ready to custom cut, join, powdercoat & assemble fittings, fixtures and bespoke luminaires. The labelling of each package includes the name of the project, the type of lighting, the qty, meterage & area it’s being installed for increased efficiency on-site - saving you installation time where deadlines are of paramount importance. Lighting Design Services We offer the services of a MIES Lighting Designer who can provide layout design, update existing lighting layouts to reflect new lighting
Installation Capability Capability to install is on a National Basis. We can organise crews in each state, if required and ensure they are paid in accordance with relevant EBA’s.

Product Supply 2.3m Vic Warehouse / Low Lead times / Expected Lifetime / Warranty Period / Post roll out support. Ozlite can provide customised product solutions where required. With local assembly capabilities we can also provide rapid response to unusual demands. Rebates - We have a number of products already accredited by Federal/State governments for rebates. Additional products are submitted for approval as required. YES. We generate the certificates through approved providers. Our management fee is approx $3.90 per certificate dependent on project size. Able to follow relevant rebate installation rules.
Compliance / Quality Management System We employ a full time compliance officer who ensures we follow the relevant laws and guidelines. They collaborate with various departments in the company to ensure their operations follow regulations, researches skills to provide information on legal requirements and complex industry standards. They also review and interpret internal policies to ensure they align with ethical standards.
COVID-19 Protocols / Business Continuity & Disaster Management The risk of technology outages impacting Ozlite’s ability to supply products & services to customers is significantly low. Should an outage occur – our business continuity & disaster management plan would be activated& backup procedures would be implemented. These include the use of mobile phones for communication, manual order & receipting books and delivery of goods by staff etc. No specific requirements are needed to enable interoperability. Routine scheduled maintenance is conducted outside of working hours. Ozlite is equipped with an in-house I.T department & also has an SLA with I.T providers – Technicalities, Fenwick & CRM Strategy to promptly rectify any additional complex I.T/ERP/CRM issues that arise. Support is provided ad-hoc & after hours, if necessary. We have a Business Continuity & Disaster Management Plan that was tested heavily throughout the COVID19 Pandemic.

Our Work Blacktown Girls High School Blacktown, NSW
Blacktown Girls High School is an inclusive school with both academically selective students and local comprehensive students, located in Blacktown, New South Wales. The client was working on a complete refurbishment/rebuild of an old classroom into a modern robotics room. For lighting, they wanted an ambience suitable for the new room’s unique design, with enough light output to get the best effect. With this in mind, we custom built lighting for this project with Vibe strip lighting and track lighting. We provided 17m of 2m Black Track and 23 x Vibe 20W LED Black Single Circuit Track Heads to form a U-shape around the room. We also used 38m of 36W Cool White, Custom Cut and Assembled, Suspended Strip Lighting housed in Aluminium Profile to zig-zag across the edges of the track lighting to emphasise the striking architectural space . The client was incredibly impressed with our lighting instalment, which not only provides enough light output in the large space, but also enhances the contemporary look of the new room.

St Johns Regional College Dandenong, VIC
One great partnership we have had is with the fabulous team at St John’s Regional College in Dandenong who have been purchasing our high quality lighting products for 14 years. During that time, technology has changed considerably and we have have been able to help long-term Facilities Manager Keith Jenner continue to reduce maintenance, save on energy & assist with lighting maintenance cost control. Now housing more economical VIBE Backlit Flicker-Free LED Panels, the newly refurbished Weights Room and Library produce brighter light while each fitting now halves their power consumption.

Wycliffe Christian School Warrimoo, NSW
The Wycliffe Christian School is an independent non-denominational Christian co-educational early learning, primary and secondary day school, located in Warrimoo, NSW. This regional location amid the Blue Mountains is surrounded by beautiful Eucalyptus forests, the entrance to the school itself nestle in nature. Our client required lighting for the walkway that hugged the entry driveway, without imposing unnecessary cables or poles amid the trees. Our solution was simple, but perfectly suited for their use; LED Solar Bollard Lights. These VIBE Solar Bollard Lights charge throughout the day and turn on when night falls, all automatic without any need for cable installation or remote control.

Barbeques Galore Sydney, NSW
Barbeques Galore is an outdoor living store in Belrose, Sydney that specialises in BBQs, outdoor furniture, outdoor accessories and tableware for your outdoor living space. For this project, the client wanted us to manage a full lighting fitout. This included lighting layout/lux plans and design. The client was keen to light the store up as brightly as a Christmas tree, with full coverage across the floor and no dark shadow areas. He also wanted substantial highlighting for the shelving and illumination for the front windows, which would stay bright and lit up even at night. Since our aim in this project was to ensure brightness in the interiors and storefront display, we used a mix of products that would suit the requirements. These included the Vibe 200W LED Sunflower High Bay Natural White With Motion Sensor, Vibe 37W Cool White LED Track Light With White Trim and the Vibe 36W Natural White LED Panel Light 1200x300mm.

Werribee Basketball Stadium Werribee, VIC
Werribee Basketball Stadium was a new development. Our client had a few specific requirements for their lighting that we needed to consider when working on the project. Firstly, they were looking for a heavy duty Highbay that would easily withstand knocks and bumps from the basketballs. They also needed a lens to cut out the glare factor, to be able to run a quarter of the Highbays on a DALI digital dimming system, and to save on energy and electricity costs. Finally, they also needed a high lux level which would be appropriate when professional competitions took place. Bearing in mind the needs of the client and the specifications of this project, we used the Vibe 200W natural white LED highbay light (250x VBLHB-927-4-50). By using 250x 200W LED Highbay as opposed to 250x 400W metal halide, we were able to secure a substantial saving on energy consumption. Since these lights would operate for 10 hours a day, 7 days a week, the return on investment we anticipated included a payback period of 134 weeks and savings amounting up to approximately $67,000 per year in electricity bills. Additionally, we also expected a huge saving on black balloon carbon emissions, making this a smart, sustainable decision. Considering how the client was keen to use lighting fixtures that were energy efficient, they were satisfied with the lights that we used, which did the job perfectly. Our work on this project demonstrated how smart lighting fixtures can be used to achieve the preferred illumination levels without leading to hefty bills.

Hamara Bazzar Epping, VIC
Hamara Bazzar in Epping is a supermarket that specialises in Indian and Sri Lankan food products, groceries, spices and more. In this project, we had to work with the designers, AMATO Design, to install lights that met a specific power efficiency, colour temperature and overall ambience. We were also able to secure a further budget reduction without compromising the lighting levels. In this project, we used the 3CCT track lighting together with 25W VBLTL-450 Luminaire. The 25W luminaire was used to comfortably highlight the shelving and the products on it. Since these lights are on a track system, it also allows the lighting fixtures to be repositioned when the product display instore is updated. We used the 40 watt LED 5k Skyline at the front of counter. The lights ensure adequate illumination in the point of sale area, which makes it easier for the staff and customers to complete purchases, and for security cameras to record it too. The client was extremely pleased with our choice of lighting fixtures for this project, since it also significantly reduced the overall power consumption. Additionally, they did a great job of enhancing the instore ambience, which directly impacted the customer experience too.
