The Monolithic Socle (Base): This mineral-like foundation housed the reception and entry lobby, which evoked the grandeur of airport halls. The concept behind this volume was to blend it seamlessly with the surrounding treelined landscape that extended along the building’s length.
The Sky Garden: Emerging from the vegetated roof of Scole, the sky garden featured scattered pavilions, offering a serene retreat amid the greenery.
The task was to design the headquarters for the Taiwaness fashion brand: Girdear locateed in Guangzhou next to a highway. It served not only as the company’s private office but also as a commercial hub for the area, offering shared meeting spaces, offices, and a communal exhibition space. These were complemented by auxiliary facilities such as cafés, bars, and a sky garden.
The design was characterized by its distinct four-part volumetric composition:

Pilotis and Suspended Volumes: Slender pilotis supported a rectangular volume that housed Girdear’s private offices. A secondary triangular volume, featuring suspended box-like elements, accommodated a library and reading rooms, adding a dynamic architectural feature to the design.
The Transparent Vault: Serving as the sky lobby, this glass-encased space also functioned as a grand runway platform, designed to host Girdear’s fashion shows.

My job task was to categorize various facade elements for mockups based on the estabilished design concept.
-Conducted an in-deepth analysis of the design, focusing on facade modules, dimensions, interfaces, joints, materials and other key aspects.
-Consolidated the design solution and reflected them back to the overall design.
