Pre-Pharmacy Science Career Studies Certificate

The Pre-Pharmacy Science CSC is designed to be taken in addition to and/or after earning the Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in General Studies. Additionally, students who complete this certificate will be prepared to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam.

Program Length 1 year (2 semesters) Transfer Objectives Students who complete this pathway will be better prepared for a career in pharmacy science.

Additionally, students could pursue a career as a pharmacy technician.

either enter pharmacy school or to become a pharmacy technician.

Tuition & Fee At only $162.11 per credit hour for you’ll

save $10K to $40K, in tuition costs alone, by starting at VHCC! Out-of-state students living within a 30-mile radius qualify for in-state tuition.

In addition to a Masters Degree in Chemistry, Davis has worked for the pharmaceutical industry. She enjoys her position as advisor for the pre-pharmacy pathway because she gets to know her students well and over 20 years she has taught at VHCC, she has seen many students get into Pharmacy school.
