WEEKLY MEETING INFO: The one where we learn all about VHCC Upward Bound.

ORIENTATION We'll Be There For You! UPWARD BOUND

CHS: Wednesday, Sept. 6 @ 1:15 or 2:55 NHS: Wednesday, Sept. 6 @ 7:45am HHS: Wednesday, Sept. 6 during lunch VHS: Thursday, Sept. 7 during lunch PHHS: Friday, Sept. 8 during lunch

NEW THIS YEAR: In order to receive your full stipend each month, you must complete an activity that focuses on college readiness that is specific to your grade level.

Activities will be assigned during weekly meetings & through email.

If you miss 2 weekly meetings within a month, you will be required to schedule an individual meeting.

You must complete the 2023-24 required paperwork in order to receive your stipend!!

It is very important to attend this first meeting!

SEPTEMBER MEETING THEME& STIPEND ACTIVITY: September is the month for STUDY SKILLS! What do you think a tomato and study skills have in common?? Come to the meetings and find out!!

The stipend activity for the month of September is a questionnaire called VARK. It helps students determine their learning style(s)!
