Congratulations to Carl Taylor (VHS) for becoming an Eagle Scout! This is the highest achievement within the Boy Scouts of America, and requires a lot of work and time. Requirements include earning at least 21 merit badges, Scout Spirit, an ideal attitude based upon the Scout Oath & Law, service, and leadership. The service & leadership portion includes an extensive service project that the Scout plans, organizes, leads, and manages. Carl's service project was to build covered bus stops throughout Bristol!
Congratulations to Maddie Bowers (HHS) for competing in the National FBLA Conference in Chicago, IL this summer. She ranked top 15 in the NATION for the Sales Presentation category! The local Kiwanis Club sponsored her and she was asked to be a guest speaker at their meeting to describe her presentation & trip!
