COMPANY PROFILE VG nasce nel 1991 a Treviso, a 20 km da Venezia.

Da questa città unica al mondo apprende l’arte delle cose belle, delle proporzioni architettoniche, dell’impiego di materiali diversi e dell’ispirazione a culture lontane rielaborate dalla geniale artigianalità italiana.

Tutto ciò è VG: un insieme di oggetti, unici ed autentici, a disposizione di interior designers per realizzare progetti sempre esclusivi, diversi, mai omologati, di un lusso colto e moderatamente ostentativo, espressione di una continua ricerca di design sofisticatamente decorativo.

VG was founded in 1991 in Treviso, 20 km from Venice.

This unique city can teach the art of beautiful things, architectural proportions, the use of different materials and inspiration from distant cultures, reworked by brilliant Italian craftsmanship.

VG is all of this: it makes a collection of authentic and unique objects available to interior designers for use in exclusive projects, always different, never conformist, characterised by a cultured and moderately ostentatious luxury, the result of continuous research on stylishly decorative design.

In this prestigious residence of the 17.century, overlooking the Canal Grande in Venice, VG - thanks to its effective cooperation with Valorizzazioni Culturali - just gets under way a new display of its icons, at full disposal for meetings and conventions with customers and professionals.

VENEZIA Tavolo “Venezia” Una storia millenaria

“Venezia” table A thousand years of history

VG dedica un grande tributo alla città di Venezia e alle sue “Briccole”: i pali di rovere o quercia da millenni utilizzati per segnalare alle imbarcazioni le zone navigabili della laguna. Ogni briccola, alla fine della sua vita, viene sostituita e VG ha scelto di valorizzare questo materiale di “riuso” trasmettendo ad un oggetto di arredo unico al mondo tutta la bellezza e la magia di questa città. Il tavolo Venezia, unisce al fascino del legno temprato dal tempo e dalla natura, il vetro, richiamo alla trasparenza dell’acqua, regina della città. Il tavolo è realizzato in vetro temperato accoppiato e fra i due strati del piano si trova una sottile sezione di briccola, in legno di rovere.

VG honours the city of Venice and its “Briccole”: the oak poles that for a thousand years have guided boats along the navigable parts of the lagoon. Each briccola, at the end of its lifespan, is replaced and VG chose to honour them by using retired poles to make furniture that is unique for its beauty and the magic of this city. The Venezia table blends the allure of wood tempered by time and nature, with glass, which mimics the transparency of water, the queen of the city.

The tabletop is made of two layers of tempered glass that house a thin section of oak briccola.

Evoking the splendour of the Venetian carnival, VG is proud to present the “San Marco” candelabra.

Made from hand-blown Murano glass, this elegant object evokes the most lavish festivities at the Venetian carnival. Ø 80 x h 160 cm

SOPHIA Dalla grazia sottile, Sophia è caratterizzata dall’elegante schienale ovale imbottito e dall’esile leggerezza della struttura in legno di faggio. Struttura e rivestimento possono essere scelti fra una ricca gamma di finiture e tessuti.

Fine and delicate in shape, Sophia is featured by an elegant oval upholstered back and a light structure in beech wood.

A wide range of finishes and fabrics are available for both structure and covering.

The “Correr” collection the beauty of Murano glass

Un vaso dedicato alla celebrazione dei grandi maestri vetrai veneziani degli anni ‘30-’40. Il vetro di Murano è la più antica lavorazione conosciuta nel mondo e rappresenta una delle poche forme di artigianato artistico legata al mondo dell’arte e del design ancora oggi. La lavorazione è affidata alle mani esperte di mastri soffiatori che, custodendone il segreto, creano oggetti unici ed inimitabili, atto a sottolineare l’importanza del “Made in Italy”. La collezione Correr gira attorno al rostro, elemento decorativo già nell’epoca romana.

A vase designed to celebrate the mastery of the great Venetian glass-makers of the 1930s and 1940s. Murano glassmaking is the most ancient skill of its kind known in the world, and is still one the few forms of artisan production closely linked to the world of art and design. The process relies on the skills of master glass-blowers, who, using their secret methods, create some unique and incomparable objects which exemplify the special quality of Italian craftsmanship.

The Correr collection centres on the motif of the rostrum, or ship’s prow, a decorative element used during the Roman period.

A Venezia e alla sua storia di artigianilità nella lavorazione del vetro, è dedicata questa collezione di vasi, che prende il nome da una delle più nobili e insigni famiglie della città veneta. Evocano l’atmosfera della città al calar del sole, quando i colori del tramonto si riflettono sull’acqua, tavolozza di forti colori che ha caratterizzato tutto il mondo del pop art. Realizzato in vetro soffiato a bocca, il vaso Mocenigo è disponibile nei colori: nero, bianco, verde chiaro o muschio, arancio, grigio, blu cobalto, rosso rubino, tutti impreziositi dalla foglia oro.

This collection of vases is named after one of Venice’s most distinguished families, and is dedicated to the city and its history of crafting beautiful glassware. These objects evoke the atmosphere of Venice at sunset, with the tints of the setting sun reflected on the water: a palette of strong colours which typified the world of pop art. Made from blown glass, the vase Mocenigo is available in the following colours: black, white, light green or moss green, orange, grey, cobalt blue, ruby red; all of them made precious by a touch of golden leaf.

Timeless Elegance

Divano dal design classico, realizzato dai maestri tappezzieri di VG, caratterizzato dall’alto schienale capitonné e da linee morbide ed originali. Il rivestimento è in prezioso velluto idrorepellente liscio e morbido, dalle nuances delicate.

I cuscini regalano vivacità ed i piedini in metallo un tocco di leggerezza.

Classical design for sofa Shinke, made by VG skilled upholsterers, featured by tall capitonné back and soft original lines. Covering in precious waterproof smooth and soft velvet, in delicate nuances. Cushions give vivacity and metal footers a touch of lightness.

VG propone un viaggio nei mitici anni ’60 quando imperava la Pop Art, celeberrima corrente artistica nata dal genio di Andy Warhol.

Ed è così che le forme eccentriche e sinuose della poltrona “Shinke” si vestono di colore, grazie ai velluti della maison Rubelli.

Un’esplosione di tonalità sgargianti che regalano agli ambienti uno stile d’arredo senza tempo.

VG offers a journey back to the roaring 1960s when Pop Art, the famous artistic movement born from the genius of Andy Warhol, was all the rage.

Hence, the eccentric and sinuous shapes of the “Shinke” armchair are filled with colour, thanks to the velvets of the Rubelli fashion house.

An explosion of bright shades gives the rooms a timeless furnishing style.

VG ha scelto un’essenza tra le più pregiate per il tavolo Parigi.

Si tratta del prezioso Bois de Rose, un raro tipo di palissandro di origine sudamericana, che presenta al taglio una colorazione giallopallida che si intensifica con la stagionatura, assumendo un aspetto rosso-rosato.

Molto in voga e apprezzato sin dall’epoca dei grandi ebanisti dell’ottocento, è tuttora ricercatissimo per suoi raffinati effetti cromatici.

VG has selected one of the most excellent types of wood for table Parigi.

It’s the precious Bois de Rose, a rare rosewood coming from South America, whose original pale-yellow colour turns into a rose-red shade after seasoning.

All the rage and appreciated since the beginning of the nineteenth century, it is still in great demand for its refined chromatic effects.

VG presenta una collezione di rivisitazioni in chiave “pop” di sculture d’arte classica.

L’opera di ispirazione viene destrutturata, solo alcuni dettagli vengono estrapolati e messi in evidenza, divenendo i protagonisti del nuovo oggetto. Un progetto ambizioso, che trae spunto dalle più alte rappresentazioni dell’arte italiana. Le lampade sono realizzate in ceramica con paralume in tessuto.

VG presents a collection of classic sculptures which revisits the techniques of pop art.

The original work is taken apart; only a few details are highlighted, thus becoming the main features of the new object. An ambitious project, which takes its inspiration from the most famous images of Italian art. The collection presents lamps in ceramic with fabric lampshade.

ANDY Caratterizzara dalle ante sagomate a forma di fiore, al suo interno si trovano ripiani e cassetti, verniciati in color oro.

La credenza è realizzata in ebano lucido e rovere spazzolato.

Featuring doors in the form of flowers, the interior of the cabinet contains shelves and drawers with a gold finish.

The sideboard is made from polished ebony and brushed oak.

Spring at home

Preannunciano l’arrivo della primavera, la natura con loro si risveglia e sboccia il colore.

Le Pansé ispirano la forma della nuova seduta di VG, con le sue leggere gambe in noce canaletto e l’avvolgente seduta rivestita in velluto Rubelli, dai freschi color primaverili.

They are the harbingers of spring, nature awakens with them and colours emerge.

Pansies are the inspiration for the new VG chair, with its slender legs of Canaletto walnut and the enveloping seat upholstered with fresh spring shades of Rubelli velvet.

FENICE Una foglia leggera, sospesa, impalpabile, che volteggia nel vuoto, ma allo stesso tempo destinata a durare nel tempo, solida come il noto Teatro Veneziano.

Il rovere, il noce e l’acciaio si fondono in un abbraccio caldo ed indissolubile.

A light, suspended and impalpable leaf, which hovers in the air and is also meant to last over time, as solid as the famous Fenice Theatre in Venice.

Oak, walnut and steel come together in a warm and indissoluble embrace.

Bringing nature into your home, giving it space in the garden, building a colourful and decorated house, placing brilliant objects in bright lights with a vaguely Eastern flavour, regaining contact with the authenticity of an object created from a typically Italian concept and culture, a unique mix of furnishings to decorate spaces with a distinct identity, one of a kind, not modern, not classic, yet able to communicate with any style: this is the goal of VG design concept.

PADOVA Bolle di Vetro

Glass bubbles

La forma di questo originale vaso decorativo si ispira alle bolle d’acqua, al gorgoglio delle fontane di Piazza della Valle di Padova.

Il Veneto e la sua tradizione artistica e manifatturiera si concretizzano in questo oggetto di vetro soffiato a bocca.

Il vaso è proposto in due varianti colore rosso e tabacco, con sfere interne o esterne.

The highly original design of this decorative vase is inspired by the bubbles of water produced by the gurgling fountain in the Piazza della Valle in Padua. The Veneto region and its traditions of manufacturing and artistic craftsmanship are exemplified in this special hand-blown glass vase.

The vase is available in either red or tobacco colour, with glass bubbles inside or outside.

PHILO & POTUS Siamo come foglie, posiamo sui viali sconosciuti...

We are like leaves, we drop onto unknown roads...

I pouff sono pensati per spazi sia indoor che outdoor. La loro forma richiama la foglia delle varie piante da cui prendono il nome, rafforzando il legame che da sempre VG ha con il mondo della natura. La fodera, personalizzabile in una vasta gamma di colori con cuciture a contrasto, è resistente all’acqua ed ai raggi UVB, pensata per non subire i danni causati dagli agenti atmosferici e per non scolorire con il tempo.

Ideale per creare un angolo lounge o a bordo piscina, invita al relax.

The poufs were designed for use both indoors and outdoors. Their shape recalls the leaves of the various plants that bear their name, a further reinforcement of the ties VG has always had with nature. The cover can be personalised with a vast range of colours and stitching, is water-repellent and resistant to the sun’s rays, created to withstand damage caused by atmospheric agents and to retain its colour.

Ideal for a lounge corner or poolside, it invites you to relax.

La voglia di colpire e scandalizzare è stata il motore che spinse Man Ray a creare Cadeau: un ferro da stiro trovato da un rigattiere, al quale applicò una fila di quattordici chiodi, modificandone la naturale funzione e creando un oggetto dal fascino gotico.

La collezione di vasi in ceramica e acciaio Gothic, di colore nero e finitura opaca, rappresenta un tributo che VG dedica all’artista che ha portato il dadaismo verso il non-senso più assoluto.

Just to hit and shock, Man Ray created Cadeau: an old iron, which he sticked a row of fourteen nails to, thus changing the natural function of the item and giving it a gothic appeal.

Collection Gothic - vases in baked clay and steel, colour black and matt finish - is a tribute to the artist, who led dadaism towards the most absolute non-sense.

OCTOPUS Il lampadario Octopus si inserisce con eleganza in arredi sia classici che contemporanei, sia in ambienti domestici che in spazi contract. Imponente e grandioso, si afferma come l’indiscusso protagonista dello spazio in cui si trova. La sua forma richiama i tentacoli di un polpo e la sua struttura è realizzata in pirex ed acciaio. É disponibile nella versione con 24 ,36 o 72 bracci, oltre ad essere personalizzabile in base alle richieste del cliente.

The Octopus chandelier, as the candleholder, inserts itself with elegance in both classical and contemporary furnitures, domestic environments and contract spaces. Impressive and majestic, asserts itself as the undisputed character of the surrounding space. Its shape recalls the Octopus’ tentacles and its structure is in pyrex and stainless steel. It is available with 24, 36 or 72 arms, but it can also be customized.
