SMALL GESTURES responding to Sylvia Plachy’s works at EMŰK

SMALL GESTURES During the workshop the members of the visual art group from the local Artschool would have rather focused on their inner experiences and interpretations than on the aesthetic aspects of the photos. Throughout individual or in group movements the participants animated a moment or the minute before that moment and reacted freely and playfully to the exhibited works. The colourful images of the workshop, representing the present had communicated dynamically with the past, with the black and white world of Sylvia Plachy.

A sepsiszentgyörgyi Művészeti és Népiskola vizuális művészet csoportja műhelymunkán vett részt az Erdélyi Művészeti Központban. A hallgatók Sylvia Plachy fehér-fekete fotóira készítettek testi válaszokat Erwin Wurm egy perces szobrait, illetve az Alexandra Pirici féle rögtönzött mozgásművészetet véve alapul.

A műhelymunka során a vizuális művészet csoport tagjai a megélt szituációt, az értelmezést helyezték előnybe a fotók esztétikai szempontjaival szemben. Egy-egy pillanatot vagy egy azt megelőző momentumot elevenítettek meg mozdulatban, egyénileg vagy csoportban, szabadon, játékosan reagálták le a két kiállítás néhány munkáját. A workshop színes képei, a jelen dinamikusan kommunikál Plachy fehér-fekete világával, a múlttal.

Grupa de arte vizuale de la Școala de Arte și Meserii Sfântu Gheorghe a participat la un atelier derulat la Centrul de Artă din Transilvania.

Studenții au oferit răspunsuri corporale la fotografiile alb-negru ale Sylviei Plachy, bazându-se pe sculpturile de un minut ale lui Erwin Wurm, respectiv pe arta de mișcare spontană a Alexandrei Pirici.

Pe parcursul atelierului membrii grupei de arte vizuale au preferat situațiile trăite și interpretările proprii în opoziție cu aspectele estetice ale fotografiilor. Prin mișcări individuale sau de grup participanții au animat un moment sau chiar clipa dinaintea acestuia și au reacționat liber, cu o abordare ludică a lucrărilor din cadrul expoziției. Imaginile colorate din cadrul workshopului, care exprimă prezentul, au comunicat dinamic cu trecutul, cu lumea în alb-negru a Sylviei Plachy.
