Ireland’s medtech leadership potential mooted
Nine out of ten business leaders believe that Ireland will play a signi cant role in delivering digital health solutions, according to a new report published by the Irish Medtech Association and the Connected Health Skillnet.
e report outlines a digital health roadmap to address skill needs in the sector. Simon Coveney, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, stated that Ireland has the potential to become a leader in the digital health industry, which is projected to be worth over $1.5 trillion by 2030. e Connected Health Skillnet identi ed 200 companies delivering digital health solutions in Ireland, with areas of focus including telehealth, data analytics, cybersecurity, remote monitoring and mobile health.
