he Screwdriver magazine(newsletter) bearing the name of the GESA notice board is an engineering based online publication that features latest information,activities, events worth mentioning, and outlines scholarship opportunities Furthermore it captures health and safety tips and also a portion for advertisement of students products and services.

This publication seeks to inform,connect and inculcate the attitude of knowing what happens in your jurisdiction and beyond.

Thumbs up to the executive body, the media and publicity committee for liaising with the office of the General Secretary for putting this together and making it happen.

President’s Message On behalf of the entire executive council of GESA, I would like to welcome all students back to school. We say a very big thank you for your support and cooperation in the previous semester. We continue to count on such positive energy and even more, this semester as we continue to work for the benefit and in the interest of all students in the College of Engineering.

HEALTH WALK AND SCREENING First in history GESA organizes a health walk. In an interview with the GESA president Mr.Nigel Twi Yeboah,he stated that “the reason for the exercise was to enable student keep fit as well as know their status health wise.

For the fact that it was pink October, breast cancer awareness, an activity that is female focused, with my constituency being male dominated, I was surprised and glad that the activity was warmly embraced and accepted by all members of the community

“ The jersey day was used in launching the EPL 2019/2020

he engineers saw their first Jersey day happen. This has been a day really yearned for. For some students it was time to have fun and socialize, for others it was time to speak for members within the team. The jersey day was used in launching the EPL,2019/2020 If you didn’t take a picture this day then you really missed.

Would it be organized again?

Well if you missed the first one I think you should really prepare for the latter to come.

The 2019/2020 Engineering premier league started with more fire this year, the various teams did their best to fight To the top. Unfortunately some couldn’t make it.

We hope they do better next time.
