• Connect PoE switch to LAN port of PoE router using an Ethernet cable.

• Connect power cable to PoE switch and plug it into a power outlet.

• Connect IP cameras to the ports on the PoE switch.

• Ensure IP cameras are connected to the PoE NVR router for centralized control and recording.

PoE Switch Setup with NVR to Get More Ports

• Connect the IP cameras to a PoE switch with 1 to 8 ports.

• Connect the PoE switch to the local area network (LAN) to use as a hub or command switch.

• Connect the hub or command switch to a PoE router.

• Connect another PoE switch with 1 to 8 ports to the hub switch through an open port. This increases the total number of PoE ports to 15 (7 from the hub switch and 8 from the secondary PoE switch).

• Connect the NVR to the PoE router and link all IP cameras to the NVR. This allows all cameras to function under the same NVR network and provides additional utility PoE ports.
