● Lumiere is the charismatic candlestick that gives advice to the beast through the course of the movie. Lumiere is very humorous and carefree. He is closest with Cogsworth and the beast.
● Cogsworth is the clock that is the beast’s most trusted advisor and is in charge of making sure that everyone follows the rules no matter what. Him and Lumiere are very close, even though they are quite opposite.
● Mrs. Potts resembles the mother figure in the story and is lighthearted. She is very encouraging and helped the beast with his toughest issues. For example, when the beast was discouraged about
Belle being unable to fall in love with him, Mrs.
Potts told him to persevere and be patient with their relationship.
