Goodwill Industries of Alberta and Vermilion Chrysler hosted a fundraiser in Vermilion for the Vermilion-Vegreville Pole Kats from November 27 – December 2.

Adam McIntyre, Vermilion Chrysler General Manager, presented the team a $1,000 cheque; and Dale Monaghan, Goodwill Industries of Alberta President and CEO presented the team a $1,000 cheque.

“The athletes are absolutely beside themselves. A lot of these children don’t have much; for a lot of them, the team is all they’ve got for family. Thank you hardly seems enough for what you have done for these players.

It’s amazing that Dale and Adam approached us and put it all together; it’s amazing to receive this kind of support for our athletes. Thank you to everyone who came in and made donations to enter the draw, and who put their names on silent auction items. The funds will go towards team coats for the 50th Anniversary of Special Olympics Alberta, and transportation fees,” said coach Vivian Wolgien.

“You are welcome; we are happy to help.

Train hard; Olympian, Cheryl Bernard, is looking forward to seeing you in Calgary,” said Dale Monaghan.

“I am thankful that hosting events like this is a great way to be part of and interact with my community. I feel blessed to have have made these connections over the years in business with it being a success, I hope we can continue this partnership for many years helping with local teams and Goodwill.

I played hockey for many years and at a young age realized just how much all sports can cost a family in time and money. Matching equipment is not a necessity, however the Pole Kats play as a team and deserve to look like one!” said Adam McIntyre.

The 2019 Special Olympics Alberta Winter Games will take place in Calgary from February 8 – 10. The team presented Adam McIntyre and Dale Monaghan signed jerseys making them honorary Pole Kats.

Volunteers came from Vegreville on December 1, to represent the team as they were competing in another tournament in Edmonton. Players returned still glowing to have had the opportunity to meet Joey Moss at the Special Olympics Joey Moss Floor Hockey Invitational. Their main focus is Calgary, and the team won silver four years ago, but for many players it will be their first time. They will also be competing at a higher competitive level this year.

The chatter of excited customers, Town representatives, Cornerstone board members, and staff filled the air as you entered Vermilions new Cornerstone Co-op’s Pharmacy location on November 29th for its Grand Opening. The store is located across the street from the current Cornerstone Co-op Grocery store in the administration building.

General Manager Graham Getz is thankful for all the support they have received throughout the process of the pharmacy setup.

7th Annual Snowmobile Expo

The Vermilion Ridge Riders held their 7th Annual Snowmobile Expo at the Vermilion Regional Centre on December 1.

Hundreds of people from all over Alberta and Saskatchewan attended, and were excited to check out 104 vintage snowmobiles, as well as check out new machines and gear.

“The idea for this expo began as a way to get the club’s name out there and host something different. It started off small, and is getting bigger and bigger every year.

Everyone grew up riding these old snowmobiles, and we like reliving the glory days! Some are very rare,” said Warren Young, Vermilion Ridge Riders president.

T h e c o l l e c t i o n i n c l u d e d a 19 6 0 Polaris Sno -Traveler, and a whole s e c t i o n of o l d r ac e s n ow m o b i l e s.

Young went on to say that most people

enjoy riding snowmobiles for leisure, as a way to get away from the hustle and grind of life.

“It is a great way to get out and do something in the winter. The more you do it, the more it turns into a passion,” said Young.

Children and adults enjoyed checking out what snowmobile merchants i n c lu d i n g B ad d o c k ’s Power Pr o d ucts, Power & Leisure, NYX Powersports, Rec-Tech Power Products, OJ’s Leisure & Marine, and T&T Power Sports had to offer. During their first time at the expo, Lloydminster Power & Leisure Centre’s Shawn Dobni allowed guests to test out their SnowDog allterrain utility machines.

“The best part is that they are an allseason 4-stroke machine which act as a multi-purpose unit. They replace the need for both quad and snowmobile, and are a workhorse that you can use for hunting, fishing, farming, etc. and add multiple carts or sleds to,” said

Dr. Richard Starke Announces 2019 Election Decision

Submitted Two-Term PC MLA Not Seeking a Third Term Edmonton— November 28, 2018 — Dr. Richard Starke, MLA for Vermilion-Lloydminster since 2012, will not be seeking a third term in the 2019 provincial election. “ Seven year s ag o to d ay I mad e the decision to run for the nomination of the Progressive Conservative Party in the constituency of VermilionLloydminster. Since April of 2012 it has been my honour to represent the people of Vermilion-Lloydminster here in the Alberta Legislature.

Scripture teaches us that ‘To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven’.

After much thought I have decided that this is the time for me to move on to new challenges and opportunities.

Accordingly, I am announcing today that I will not seek re-election to a third term as ML A in the newly redrawn constituency of Vermilion-Lloydminster-Wainwright.

Ser ving the people of VermilionLloydminster as their elected representative has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. In addition, he oversaw the revamping of Alberta’s amateur spor t system and initiated the restoration of Alberta Parks infra-

structure damaged by the 2013 floods, including the Kananaskis Golf Course.

In 2014, he chaired the Rural Health Ser vices Review which released its final report in March 2015. Starke was re-elected in 2015, one of only two Progressive Conservative candidates to retain their seat in rural Alber ta.

He served as Caucus House Leader and critic for Health, Culture & Tourism, Parks, and Agriculture & Forestry.

The United Nations is an unelected organization that will take over sovereignty matters in Canada if this agreement is signed. Justin Trudeau and Christa Freeland among others were secretly helping the UN promote this agreement without our knowledge.

Positive sounding words hidden within a destructive document have been typed within while ending Canada’s sovereignty.

The UN wants to move 285 million migrants mainly from the Middle East and Africa to the countries that sign the agreement. Canada’s population currently is 37 million.

Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Australia, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia, Estonia, United States and even Israel have said NO to signing this agreement. These countries realize that signing this agreement

In Germany, 12 citizens have to work to fund the cost of one refuge/migrant and 19% of Sweden’s total government budget is spent on refuge/migrants currently. Only 1% of the 2 million migrants that flooded Germany’s border work. In Canada an estimated cost of $50,000 per year for a migrant is shocking. The cost to signing would be all that taxes will skyrocket, as will our education, health, welfare, and housing systems costs. This proposed agreement erases Canada’s border as it gives full control of the United Nations to decided who enters and migrates into Canada. It promises to give all migrants care and support, healthcare, legal support, human rights and “empowers them with full inclusion and social cohesion”. That wording is the most dangerous to our Canadian way of life. Sharia Law would be imposed on Canada with that legal wording added into the document. Research Sharia Law and the Quran and see what crimes certain migrants could get away with if you don’t already know. (Some examples; rape, wife stoning, female genital mutilation, and even murdering their own family member if they are out of line with their ideological belief system, etc) When terrorists come they will have access to free legal suppor t to sue our own country when they try through human rights to get what they demand and their crimes would be forgiven to award them with full and social inclusion. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says Canadians want more immigration which this agreement goes far beyond immigration as it give the migrant every right we have and more if they are a migrant. They have conveniently changed the word illegal immigrant to irregular immigrant and finally to regular migrant to make it sound legal when

migration has been illegal without immigration approval. He has never asked Canadians what WE want.

In this agreement the media is forced to advertise and promote the migration compact. Media is also forbidden any negative reporting and also forces media and government officials ( yes police) to withhold information when a crime is committed by a migrant. Those that oppose and speak against crimes will be charged with a hate crime and be fined/sentenced to imprisonment.

Therefore the terrorists and criminals will always be protected. This sounds like a communist country where Justin Trudeau is the dictator.

The liberal government of Canada shows no concern for the increased crime and security costs. No plan or cap on migration. They provide no data on the cost to taxpayers in Canada.

This is essentially an economic disaster for Canada to sign this compact for migration. The legal wordings in this document allows the UN to make Canada conform with their unelected International Law. Christa Freeland has been openly speaking of the “new international rules based order” and has travelled to Europe recently to promote this. The UN plans a global takeover of the western and European countries if they con us into signing this disastrous agreement.

December is upon us, and with is comes the Christmas baking, t h e h o l i d ay h o u s e cleaning, the gift shopping and wrapping, Christmas concerts and parties and the decorating. It is a busy time to be sure. We are often baking up some treats to take to something. Traditional holiday favorites are butter tarts, shortbread, mincemeat tarts, sugar cookies, gingerbread, butterscotch confetti, snowball cookies, Nanaimo bars, madeleines, macaroons, thumb print cookies, and chocolate drop cookies. I am sure you could add a few

more to the list. Chocolate drop cookies are fast to make, and they are gluten free as well, making them an excellent cookie when you need some baking to take to a holiday function.

Chocolate drop cookies are a favorite on mine and are one of the first cookies I ever made; I loved them when I was young. These cookies have many names, including haystacks, no bake cookies, cow pies, chocolate oatmeal clusters, chocolate drop cookies, unbaked cookies and chocolate oatmeal macaroons. As far as I can tell they are popular all across Canada, especially in Alberta. This cookie has spanned at least four generations and is a modern classic. I like using Heresy cocoa, as it is natural and un-dutched,

therefore you get more of the beneficial dark chocolate antioxidants. If you prefer dairy free, you could sub out the butter and milk for coconut oil and coconut cream. If you do not cook the mixture long enough the cookie will not hold together, and fall apart. If you over cook the mixture, then the cookie will be dry, hard and will not stay together very well. Any type of coconut will work. If you do not have coconut, you can add the equivalent in oatmeal. Do not use instant oatmeal, but you can use old fashioned oatmeal with good results.

Chocolate Drop Cookies (gluten free & no bake) 1/2 cup butter 1/2 milk 2 cups sugar

1/2 cup cocoa 3 1/2 cups quick cooking oats 1 cup unsweetened coconut In a saucepan with a heavy bottom, mix together the butter, milk, sugar and cocoa.

Spread out wax paper on your counter the length of one and a half cookie sheets.

Heat the mixture over medium low heat until the mixture comes to a boil. Do not have the heat too high or the mixture can burn. From the time when the mixture comes to a boil, continue cooking while stirring occasionally for at least 3 minutes and no longer than 4 minutes. Remove from the heat and quickly stir in the coconut and oats. Also working quickly, drop by tablespoons onto wax or parchment paper. Allow to cool before serving.

Now the thing I will get out of the way first is that I’m not referencing that misconstrued interpretation of law around the permitted width of a stick that was applied in Victorian spousal abuse. Far from it… so let’s agree on that. Too be specific it’s plural…well about thumbs in general and all those little rules we are not usually conscious of learning or applying but do guide us along in our day to day life. Funny thing was this ‘all thumbs’ business started as a conversation at the dinner table this week when one of my daughters mentioned

they were learning about Ancient Rome.

My years perked up instantly, as opportunities to share a passion for history don’t get wasted, and it can be fun to learn about all those interesting connections we have to something in the far past. It wasn’t long before we were watching the movie ‘Gladiator’ in stages, discussing the construction methods of Roman concrete, the current state of the Colosseum, and that symbolic final gesture by a Roman Emperor of an outstretched arm and down turned thumb to pass judgement on a defeated combatant. Not a good day for that gladiator you can be assured.

It is putting those things together that can bring a little greater meaning to the ideas and symbols we have around us.

I’m not even sure I will ever click that ‘like’ thumb icon on a Facebook post again without first picturing my office chair standing in for those famed bleachers along with about 50,000 other pretend Roman thumbs down on a spacebar. Maybe they took off the ‘unlike’ buttons simply because it made too many people think they could act like Emperor’s? Hmmm…can’t seem to put that one ‘Under My Thumb’ at all.

Yes, having those two opposable thumbs comes in awfully handy when you are trying to figure out which way to go…up or down. Especially when it takes the form of acting on ‘two thumbs up’ and ending with popcorn in a darkened room. Probably wouldn’t be sitting there doing it without thumbs involved...unless of course

you were twiddling your thumbs waiting for someone to make up their mind. Even work at times it can feel like too many people are sitting on their thumbs, and stepping up to re-write the existing rules of thumb as some new standard operating procedures was something you just had to do. Just couldn’t thumb your nose at it any longer. But if you can look on the bright side of that…in a few months some of us will be back getting our hands dirty, exercising our green thumbs. And if you think a thumb isn’t enough to rule your troubles, do what astronaut Neil Armstrong did on the Moon. He held out his arm, closed one eye, and one thumb blotted out the entirety of planet Earth. Now if I could just find my thumb drive, I might solve this column.

Over the course of the histor y of Major League Baseball, there have been 245 players from Canada. Most came from Ontario, but one came from Vermilion. He may have only played a couple of seasons, but Vermilion can count itself among the towns and cities that have produced Major League talent.

Born on April 9, 1921, Mead quickly established himself as a prominent baseball player in the area. Like so many other baseball players, he would get his start in the Major Leagues thanks to the Second World War. With so many baseball players gone, it opened the opportunity for other players to fill in.

In 1940, he was signed by the Detroit Tigers and began playing for the classC Hot Springs Bathers and the classC Henderson Oilers. In 1941, he would play for the Texarkana Twins and the Winston-Salem Twins. In 1943, he

signed with the New York Giants and would play for the Jersey City Giants, an AA team, for 97 games before making his big-league debut.

At the age of 22, he would make his start with the New York Giants on Aug. 28, 1943, playing in 37 games that season, he had a .274 batting average and hit one homerun with 40 hits. Mead would earn his first hit in the Major Leagues against Whitlow Wyatt in a 4-1 loss to the Brooklyn Dodgers. His first home run occurred on Sept. 28 against Ray Starr of the Cincinnati Reds.

In 1944, he would play 39 games and have a batting average of .179 with 14 hits and one homerun. In 1945, his last year in the majors, he would play only 11 games, batting .270 and hitting one homerun with 10 hits.

In all, Mead would play 87 games, having 261 at bats, earning 64 hits, 3 homeruns and having a batting average of .245. He would also participate in six double plays in just 71 outfield appearances.

After that season, Mead chose to

jump from the Giants and play for Vera Cruz of the Mexican League. In 1945, he would sign with the Vancouver Capilanos of the Western International League and play for six seasons. Serving as a star player, he would lead the team to two league titles in 1947 and 1949.

In 1953, at the age of 32, he would play for the Calgary Stampeders and hit 25 homeruns with a batting average of .328 in 135 game. He would play one more season, finishing with over 2,000 games in the minor leagues.

After retiring, he would move with his family to Victorville, California where he worked as a circuit technician for the phone company. He would spend his spare time coaching little league teams and helping grow a new generation of baseball players. He even helped one of his players make it all the way to the Majors with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Mead passed away on May 8, 2014 at the age of 93.

New Habitat Home Owner

The Vermilion Friends of Habitat Committee and Edmonton Habitat For Humanity welcomed Donna Bodurka and her children during a home dedication ceremony on November 26.

Donna grew up in Clandonald, and has been living and working in Vermilion for the past few years.

Edmonton Habitat For Humanity President and CEO, Karen Stone, said that the organization has welcomed 74 families including 200 children into homes this year, and that they serve 430-440 families at any one time across northern Alberta.

“This is a first for us in Vermilion, being a buy back, the home was built in 2016.

It is becoming extremely hard for people across our country to enter into home ownership. Affordable homes are critical, and it wasn’t an easy journey, but the program is sustainable. We would like to thank the committee and volunteers in Vermilion for their dedication raising funds to change the lives of individuals.

Donna, we know you are going to fill this home with fabulous memories. May you and your family be extraordinarily happy here,” said Stone.

Mayor Caorline McAuley said, “I’d like to thank the committee for putting their heart and soul, and working very hard to make this a reality in our community.

Welcome, and congratulations; I hope this home becomes a place of safety, memories, and security.”

Donna’s four children, Jade, Ariel, Stephen, and Austin were also excited about their new home and Stephen said, “I can’t wait to show friends the new home, Jade is excited that we can have pets, Ariel looks forward to having a warm house, and Austin likes that it is close to the skate park. Thank you to Habitat for Humanity for giving my mom the opportunity to own our own home.”

On behalf of the committee, Linda Jacejko said, “This is a very generous, committed town. We are so thrilled to put a new family back into this house. We know how important it is to have a home that is yours, and we wanted to share

that experience with you.”

Upon receiving the keys to her new home, recipient Donna Bodurka said, “I’m probably the happiest person here today. I heard about Habitat from a friend of mine, and attended an information session, where I became excited for myself and my children. I never thought about owning my own home; it was a far off dream. How can a single mom with four children own her own home?

We have obtained the first portion of our community volunteer hours by helping out at the museum, arena, and around the area.

This is a place we can take pride in and invite friends. It’s like winning the lottery; it really is a dream come true. I’d like to thank my mom and dad, Lil and Ed Radesh, who especially have always been there for me. I would like to thank the members of the Friends of Habitat Committee and Edmonton Habitat For Humanity for having faith in me.”

Committee member, Tom Kibblewhite said a blessing over the family and the

house. A lot of hugs, smiles, and excitement were shared, and guests went on to enjoy visiting over refreshments provided by the committee.

In honour of their 1st Anniversary, PHotential Health and Wellness hosted Algonquin medicine man, Pete Bernard, for Gathering of Souls at the Vermilion Regional Centre on November 28.

Approximately 150 people participated in the ceremony, having the opportunity to learn about healing, learn about themselves, and begin a healing journey.

“Suffering is a part of the human condition.

I don’t believe that people are here to hurt, suffer, or survive life; but they do because they do not know any other way. You were born, at some point you got hurt, and it shaped you and changed your view of the world.

Suffering can be not feeling satisfied or fulfilled, or having love that you cannot express. It is anything that takes place beyond the time when you got hurt, and it cannot teach you anything if you are not resolving it. We are taught that people who have issues are broken; they are not, they just haven’t healed yet. If you are just getting by, you are suffering, and when you have nothing left to lose you are in the best place to heal.

Scientists are starting to understand more about trauma and suggest that your mind is not in your brain, but throughout your entire body. They also recognise that your body sends out a signal that is nonconscious,” said Bernard.

He questioned the audience by asking if they ever wonder why they meet the people that they meet.

“We only recreate what we know. Fine is never good. The scariest thing I ever had to do was change a pattern. My tribe are people who share my healing, not people who share my pain. To some people, the thought of a healthy relationship is terrifying.

It is your job to become the best version of yourself; a more healed you. Having pain does have value, but to remain there is not going to help you. What do you want from your life, and can you afford to stay in the same situation? What if you heal first and then understand?” questioned Bernard.

He went on to suggest that people not take things personally, that they keep moving, and do something different in order to get out of where they are. He stated that there is a cost of not healing to people’s physical, mental, and spiritual health.

“It’s costing you your life; the quality of life that you want. Most people don’t heal

You have to believe in you; you don’t have to be gifted,” said Bernard.

He suggested that when people heal by themes in their life, that they can heal relatively quickly. He noted that people have to own all the days of their life, and not eliminate the ones where they were hurt or humiliated.

“To not forgive or to not heal is not free.

All forgiveness begins in in-authenticity.

There is no can’t in healing, there’s only won’t. Your life can be anything you want it to be, as long as you are willing to work for it,” said Bernard.

The audience went on to partake in a healing journey, and the feedback was very positive. PHotential Health and Wellness owner, Sheila Viel, confirmed that they will be having him back in the spring.

In the meantime, she noted that people can contact local graduates of his, Eric Barr, and Selene Viel.

“It has been a very busy, successful year.

We would like to thank everyone for their support, and Pete Bernard for providing this healing ceremony,” said Viel.

It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas around St. Jerome’s School.

Thanks to Mrs. Moir’s organization and generous spirit, our students were able to participate in our annual Tree Decorating on Tuesday, November 27. Each classroom from kindergarten to grade eight boasts their own Christmas tree, which the students decorated, with the help of Mrs. Moir, Mrs. Gnyra, Mrs. Halfe, and Mrs. Zeller. Thank you special ladies for sharing your time and talents with our students.

The Sr. High Students Council held a Fall Celebration Rally to recognize the numerous achievements of the students at St. Jerome’s. Students from our Golf Teams, Cross-Country Running Team, Football Team, and Volleyball Teams were all recognized for the very successful seasons they had. Thank you to Sadie Granigan and Sean Ulrich for being the MC’s for this event. Following the introductions the Sr. Girls Volleyball team challenged the Sr. Boys to a volleyball game. Congratulations to all the Jr. and Sr. High students who participated on a sports team representing St. Jerome’s to the best of their abilities. Mr. Brent Wasylik was chosen by North East Alberta Schools’ Athletic Association as the recipient of the 2018 Zone Award of Merit in recognition of all of his contributions to high school athletics in Alberta and to the zone throughout his teaching career.

November Happigrams were held on Friday, November 30. The grade 3/4 class did a wonderful job sharing the Advent themed Happigram, which was created

by Mrs. Moir, and has been presented for over forty years. The students share three ways Christians celebrate advent, the Advent Wreath, the Jesse Tree, and the Advent Calendar. They sang the song,”Go Light Your World”. After the celebration the students delivered the homemade Advent Calendars they created to each classroom kindergarten to grade eight.

Congratulations to all the November Happigram Winners for their hard work, strong academics, and the kindness they show to their classmates.

Jerome’s students, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. MacMillan were welcomed to Dan Knott Junior High, in Edmonton, for the 2018 Junior High Leadership Conference. Enthusiastic youth leaders organized a carnival, complete with buttery popcorn and cotton candy. During the Leaders In Training Conference (LIT), students heard from two inspiring keynote speakers. Scott Hammel, known for escaping a straitjacket locked with chains, spoke about breaking seemingly impossible tasks into smaller, more manageable, steps. Natalie Warren, a Human Rights activist and TED speaker, empowered our youth with her message on social justice, race and equality for all. Workshops focused on student wellbeing, culture building, community volunteerism, global action, and the first steps involved to take action. Students viewed

the film “Rising Above”. It tells the stories of ten Canadians who have either been the targets of bullying or a person who bullied others in the past — their stories of hope, growth and courage in overcoming and rising above the challenges they faced. Alexis, Amalee, Anna, Clay, Gracie, Hannah, Kassidy, Kenna, Layne, Lindsey, and Mia are well equipped with ideas and cheers to energize our student body! “StJ is HOT TO GO, H-O-T-T-O-G-O!” The Sr. Boy and Girl Spartans Basketball teams started their seasons this past weekend by hosting their home tournament. We wish them a very successful season.

Wow December has arrived in a hurry our staff and students are busy in the Christmas season. Winter crafts, activity days, caroling and of course practicing for our annual Christmas concert. This year it will be held on TUESDAY, DECEMBER 18, 2018 at 7 p.m. in the gym. The Grad class of 2019 is selling tickets for the supper that is held at the Rec Centre from 5-7 p.m..

Tickets can be purchased from any Grade 12 student, the Co-op, UFA and at the School Office. We look forward to seeing everyone there!

Mr. Beecroft will be calling a meeting on December 4 for the Basketball Club, which will start up in January and run to the end of February. Practices will be on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:35 pm to 4:40 pm. The club is meant as an introduction to basketball, and is open to any Grade 4-6 student.

If your child can only attend one of the days a week, that is completely fine. The season will conclude with games against the staff at lunch recesses.

The Senior High Boys Volleyball team attended Zones in Anzac, AB on November 16 and 17. The boys played very well and placed 5th overall for Zones. Congratulations to the team and Thank you to Mrs. Murray for coaching them! Go Royals!!

The Grade 6 and Grade 2 will be saying goodbye to their student teacher Mrs. Moriah Ostropolski on December 11. Mrs. Ostropolski spent mornings with grade 6 and afternoons with grade 2’s. The students enjoyed her teaching and all the art she designed with them. Thank you for Mrs. Ostropolski for enjoying our school and students for your practicum.

6 students will be Christmas caroling at the Lodge and the Hospital Extended Care on the afternoon of December 3. The Kindergarten kids are teaming up with the Grade 1 and 2 students to have their Christmas concert in the Lakeland College Alumni Theatre on December 19 at 7:00. If you wish, you can watch them in advance on the morning of December 19 at approximately 9:20. The Grade 3-5 Christmas concert will take place on December 20 at 7:00, also at Lakeland College. Their dress rehearsal will be the morning of December 20 at approximately 9:20.

On December 17, there will be an all-star hockey game and teddy bear toss. Grade

5-6 students who have been playing Canley Cup hockey during their noon recesses will get to faceoff against staff members in a game of hockey. When the first student goal is scored, the students will toss their teddy bears (or stuffies) onto the gym floor. These bears will then be collected and donated to children in need in Vermilion and area through Santa’s Anonymous. Come out and cheer on your favorite team at 12:05 on December 17.

We are very excited to be able to host a Christmas dinner for our staff and students on December 21. Thanks to a generous donation from CUPE local 1606 and Mrs. J’s Catering, we will be able to sit with our classes and enjoy a traditional Christmas meal. We will listen to Christmas carols, eat

a delicious Christmas dinner, take part in Christmas activities, and enjoy this time to connect as a school family. December 21 is also a dress up day where students and staff will don their pajamas or their crazy sweaters. What a fantastic way to end 2018.
