Dignitaries and customers gathered at Uniquely U Styles in Vermilion to celebrate their Grand Opening on September 27. Deput y Mayor, Clint McCullough said, “Congratulations! It looks awesome; I love the exposed brick.” Owner, Rita Elliott, was presented a plaque for participating in the New Commercial Retail Development Incentive Program. “Business developments like this are in c rea s in g o ur ret ail fo ot pr int downtown. As a result, communities have contacted me saying that the program should be modelled across the province,” said Mar y Lee Prior, Economic Development Coordinator.

Elliot t was ver y thank ful for the suppor t and said, “ We had to have the group we had to make it work. We couldn’t have done it without them. The community has been amazing. Ever y d ay s o m e o n e te l l s m e h ow happy they are that we did this.” U n i q u e l y U S t y l e s t o o k o w n e rship on December 1, opened ladies wear in another portion of the Craig’s Cornerstone building on February 1, and opened in their new location on July 27.
