Fast Action At Chris Cusack Memorial Hockey Game Karen Nedzielski Reporter The annual Chris Cusack Memorial hockey game got underway at the Vermilion Stadium on Jan. 11 as the Vermilion Junior B Tigers took on the Cusack Selects. Although the game was all business and both teams

came off the benches skating hard, the no-contact game was a fantastic display of hard skating, precise passing and stick handling. The Cusack Selects team members each wore their individual numbers but the name bar across their backs wa s that of th ei r fri e n d a n d avi d hockey enthusiast, Chris Cusack. Cusack passed away after an acci-

dental fall down a stairway in 2005 which claimed his life. Each year since then, the friends and family members attend and/or take part in the game to remember Cusack and raise money for charity.
