the owner and CEO of Hoop Cares LLC, is an award-winning multi-time International BestSelling Author. She enjoys assisting and encouraging others and considers it her mission and a means of ministering to others.

She is a member of the Magnolia Springs church choir and a leader on the women's ministry team. She is a board member of MS Heroes, the Mental Health Association of South Mississippi, and Adult & Teen Challenge for Women in Mississippi. She is a Be Mississippi Chamber Ambassador, community educator for the Alzheimer's Association, and serves as the Chairperson for TRIAD of Jackson County, Mississippi, an organization that works to continually improve safety awareness education among senior citizens. She selflessly donates her time to volunteer projects that benefit others. She likes to spend time with her family and friends.

Liz's company not only serves seniors, but they really work to help families by being caregiver extenders! R: How would you describe your journey of becoming the woman and CEO you are today?

L: I worked in a variety of positions, honing skills that helped me figure out what I wanted in a business and how I wanted to treat my staff.

R: What would you say is most rewarding in what you do?

L: Putting a smile on a senior client's face by providing services that meets their expectations.

R: What advice would you give someone who wants to transition from being an employee to entrepreneur?

L: Discovering your passion will assist you in determining the nature of your business. Get a life/business coach to aid you with the paperwork and signing up. Do it!

R: What are three traits you feel an entrepreneur must have?

L: Hard Working - You have to be willing to put in the hours it takes to get your business going.

Personable - You must be someone that people want to do business with and/or work for.

Integrity - You must be someone that people will trust and a person who keeps their commitments to them.

I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.

L: I care about the senior adult population and how isolated they can become when their independence is taken away. Many are unable to drive and must rely on family or friends to transport them to appointments, buy groceries, or even go out to lunch.

R: How do you measure success?

L: For me, success is defined as someone who sees me not giving up and then tells themselves that I can do whatever I desire.

R: 100 years from now when people learn about you, what do you want to be known for?

L: That I was a compassionate woman who cared for our senior adult. That I treated them as I would treat my own parents or myself.

R: How do you persist in the face of challenges within your business?

L: Honestly, I pray and ask God to help me and guide me. I continue to push on through. I don't let challenges stop me.
