R: How would you describe your journey of becoming the woman and CEO you are today?

DR: When I first launched my company in 2013, it was more of a hobby. The trip was difficult and drawn out. There were several days when I felt like giving up because I thought I must be on the wrong path because nothing was happening. When I was in my "lab" creating, that's when I felt the happiest. There were so many conflicts and impediments that had to be overcome I prayed to God asking him to confirm that this is the road he wanted me to take God sent a stranger or a friend every time the desire to give up crossed my mind to encourage me to press on Some advised me to give up my pastime, establish my worth, and find a legitimate career I had an actual work, but I constantly felt the want for more On this journey, I lost family, friends, and my marriage, but I persisted Entrepreneurship is not for the feeble-minded On days when you want to give up, you have to push through and let criticism from others slide off your back

R: What would you say is most rewarding in what you do?

DR: I would say the most rewarding thing in what I do is the freedom to choose this life, and live it out loud.

R: What advice would you give someone who wants to transition from being an employee to entrepreneur?

DR: Establish a strategy and decide what you want, I would advise you. All of your decisions both good and bad are your responsibility. You must make things happen; you cannot wait for others to tell you what to do Be prepared for change, e Eentrepreneurship is not for the faint of heart

Interview with a Women To Know In 2023

If you want to be successful as an entrepreneur, you must learn to adapt to change Staying dedicated and focused during a shift is one of the most crucial things to remember Don't try to do too many jobs at once; instead, concentrate on one at a time You must maintain attention on your objective You must set aside time every day to reflect on your progress and plan your future steps if you want to stay committed to your goal. Be patient with yourself and maintain a budget.

R: What are three traits you feel an entrepreneur must have?

DR: To succeed as an entrepreneur one must be resilient, confident, and adaptable

R: How do you persist in the face of challenges within your business?

DR: When I am going through a difficult time I focus on the bigger picture not the problem at hand. Embrace the adventures and challenges. I keep moving forward and reminding myself that quitting is not an option. I get support from a mentor to help me navigate through situations. I always make time for self care. No one can pour from an empty cup so it's important to take time out for yourself.

R: Why do you what you do?

DR: I do what I do because I like making people feel and look beautiful in their own skin. I like informing people about the components of their products and whether or not they are toxic or harmful.

R: How do you measure success?

DR; My clients' testimonials and outcomes are how I gauge my performance. I know that many people would say money, but if your customers are satisfied with the goods and services you provide, they will keep coming back, and the money will come I have clients that have supported me from the very beginning of my company and have witnessed its development

R: 100 years from now when people learn about you, what do you want to be known for?

DR:: I want everyone to know that I persevered in the face of obstacles I want them to realize that I was a superb steward of the responsibilities God gave me. I want to be known for treating others with love, compassion, and charity.

R: Give three tips to new business owners, and leaders
