JOIN US IN SUPPORT! With a 34-year history, our ability to adapt, embrace emerging opportunities, and move in new directions has pushed us to creatively confront the COVID pandemic. We had to make the decision in early February 2020 to cancel our annual Spring Gala. Instead, we have recreated an event to help us raise funds for the company called, Vintage’ n ‘Things.

Vintage’ n ‘Things is an online auction of fabulous finds including art, memorabilia, collectables, and more. In addition to the auction, the company is running a Fund a Need campaign and exclusive experiences including the beloved Verb Cafes. Help us meet our goal of raising $50,000 by supporting through your auction bids, donations, and sponsorship support! You have the opportunity to bid through Friday, April 16, 2021!

With the vaccine rollout to return we will the outdoor summer stage and will continue to bring dance into your lives.

Each of our dancers go through 10 pairs of pointe shoes a season to be able to provide dance at the highest level for which the company is known.

OUTREACH IN SCHOOLS Value: $675 per school program Verb Ballets outreach efforts use movement to connect with Ohio education standards.

Your support at this level will allow us to bring one of our programs into a local school free of charge.

COMMUNITY PERFORMANCE Value: $2,500 Verb Ballets opens its doors to and welcomes the community. The public will see a performance and be able to participate in a free masterclass. You can sponsor a free event for the Shaker Heights community!

This is your opportunity to meet each dancer and enjoy the unique architectural setting of these fine homes.

FIVE COURSE DINNER Value: $2,500 Five course dinner for a party of six at the historic mansion owned and hosted by David M. Dusek and James Graham! This beautifully restored 1926 Colonial Revival was designed by the well-known architecture firm Meade and Hamilton.

COCKTAIL RECEPTION Value: $1,000 A Verb Café cocktail reception for party of six at the home of Verb’s Producing Artistic Director, Dr. Margaret Carlson. The architect was Otto Moser and includes an Observatory in the sunroom and a large back yard for socializing.

PRIVATE PERFORMANCE Value: $1,000 Verb Ballets will open its studio for up to 10 guests. It is an opportunity to see dance up close and meet the dancers. Date availability based on a mutual agreement.

PRIVATE CLASS WITH DANCER Value: $75 1 hour Private or Semi-Private Ballet, Stretch or Strengthening Session with Verb Ballets Company Dancer, Kate Webb or Kelly Korfhgage. This lesson can take place at the Verb Studios or in the comfort of your home through Zoom!
