As an avid golfer, it has long been my passion to bring a world class golf club to Miami.

Partnering with golf icon Greg Norman has been a privilege, and we share a common vision to create a golf course that rivals the best courses not just in all of South Florida, but in the world. The course will be over 7,200 yards meandering through beautiful expansive lakes with immaculate greens, no tee times and invitation only memberships, elevating the exclusivity. Allying technology and passion, the Shell Bay Golf Academy is unprecedented in South Florida. The academy will offer state-of-the-art technology together with PGA and LPGA tour instructors to offer an exceptional level of instruction daily. The curated program of specialized golf amenities and services include custom fitting, indoor putt lab, and stretch and activation zones. It will be one of the only academies in the world to combine the top leading technologies in two state-of-the-art practice bays.

The double-sided driving range includes five target bunkers, and the short-game practice facility provides a challenging setting to refine your technique. From three-foot putts to full wedge and long bunker shots, you’ll learn to execute shots from any scoring position.

The Swing Catalyst Dual Force Plate is perfectly synchronized with high-speed video images and data. It provides independent information about the left and right foot, developing the ground reaction forces (GRFs) necessary to produce robust and precise golf shots.

Swing Catalyst Bay will be accompanied with the Foresight GCQuad launch monitor which delivers unprecedented ball and club performance data as well as a spectrum of professional features.

STEP 1

Upon arrival, your fitter will greet you and begin to identify the goals and objectives for your fitting session. As you warm up, your fitter will do a spec check and blueprint of your current clubs. The blueprint carefully evaluates how your current clubs are made.

STEP 2

Your fitter will select products for you to test, all to show improvements in the areas identified during the interview. If you choose, the equipment test is also your opportunity to try a specific product against your current clubs.

TrackMan 4 captures every detail and analyzes your game with astounding precision by combining radar and cameras. Club and ball data include impact location and total ball-flight numbers to normalize all conditions.

STRETCH & ACTIVATION ZONE

Intimate area to integrate fitness and golf so members can warm up or work with one of our top trainers to combine functional movements into the golf swing.

Find your best combination of the club head, shaft, and grip. Each component of your fitting will be explained and verified with launch monitor data.

Your fitter will also provide a detailed fitting report which includes recommended equipment, the prescribed build specifications, and a shot report.

We have a full club building workshop to make adjustments on-site.

QUINTIC BALL ROLL

Quintic Ball Roll utilizes a high-speed camera (360-1080 frames per second) to track the putter and golf ball throughout the impact zone of either a right handed or left handed player. The system automatically measures over 45 parameters regarding the putter and ball, both graphically and numerically.

The data is instantly displayed within the software for immediate analysis, review and intervention.
