Our brand is known to marine dealers worldwide as a leading producer of docks and boat lifts. Hewitt’s innovative designs and durable construction are the industry’s finest. Hewitt strives to provide products ideal for many waterfront lifestyles and remains the trusted name for quality docks and lifts.

The following guidelines have been established as the approved representation of Hewitt.

Hewitt’s graphic identity should be managed with consistency and discipline across all communication materials. Proper reproduction of these marks protects and strengthens the integrity of the Hewitt brand.

These guidelines provide direction for commercial vendors for all elements of Hewitt’s graphic identity including logos, wordmarks and color reproduction.

Commercial vendors are required to obtain necessary permission to reproduce or distribute any and all marks pertaining to Hewitt. Reproduction of any logos or wordmarks is prohibited without Hewitt’s approval.

Our look represents our heritage, commitment to quality and innovation, as well as our mission, vision, and values. Our visual identity includes Logo, Wordmark, Color Palette, Typography, Tagline.

BRAND NAME

The prominent identifier used for the company and its business units is Hewitt. This identity will be used where/when a corporate name is used and/or needed. The legal name is Hewitt Machine & Manufacturing, Inc. but for advertising purposes Hewitt must always be used.

OFFICIAL HEWITT LOGO

The official logos and wordmarks should be used for all Hewitt applications. Each logo should only be used as an independent and isolated stand-alone graphic. Never group logos or individual graphic elements together as a reconfiguration of the logo.

LOGO USAGE

The Hewitt logo is a standardized graphic representation of the Hewitt name. It is a custom-designed logo that provides immediate identity recognition. As the primary graphic symbol that identifies Hewitt, the logo must appear on all publications, websites, and other visual communications developed for Hewitt external audiences.

▪ Use only approved, unaltered versions of the logos

▪ Prioritize the use of the full-color logo when possible

▪ Do not recreate the logo

▪ Must always have the “Excellence by Design” tagline when displayed larger than 2” wide

▪ Must always be at least 1” wide on printed materials

▪ Must always be at least 72 pixels for digital use

LOGO PROHIBITED USE

▪ Graphic Modifications: Do not recreate or modify the logo in any manner. Do not move or resize the individual elements separately. Colors should not be substituted, screened or converted to a gradient.

▪ Reverse Color: The logo colors should not be swapped, altered or reversed when placed on a light or dark background.

▪ Key Line: Do not add a key line (outer border) to the logo.

▪ Distortion: Do not stretch, skew or rotate the logo. When re-sizing, make sure that the width to height aspect ratio is the same. Maintain a 0° angle for reproduction.

▪ Addition: Do not add graphic elements or text to the logo.

▪ Busy Backgrounds: Avoid the use of the logo on busy backgrounds including photos or textures.

▪ Screens and Watermarks: Do not screen or watermark the logo or place text over the logo. Logos should maintain the same color values listed in the color reproduction section of this manual.

▪ Low Resolution: Do not use versions of the logo obtained from the Web, or from scanning previously printed materials.

▪ Old logos: Do not use old Hewitt logos.

Use this font in all caps for all headings and major text elements.

COLOR GUIDELINES

The Hewitt color palette unifies our communications and is a powerful tool for building brand recognition. To ensure consistent colors when using process colors for full-color printing, use the CMYK equivalents listed for color definitions. When using colors for digital display, use Hex or RGB.

▪ Do not use colors outside the brand palette.

▪ Do not use primary colors for text on busy backgrounds.

APPLICATION USAGE

The Hewitt logo should be applied consistently across all branded materials, including labels, warnings, packaging, and signage. To maintain legibility and brand integrity, the logo must always have sufficient contrast against its background. On dark surfaces, use the white version of the logo. When placed on light backgrounds, use the primary brand colors as specified in this guide. Avoid distortion, unauthorized color changes, or modifications that compromise brand recognition.
