Exceptionally Fun The NFR Exceptional Rodeo Welcomes Kids!
By Angelina Agasi
The Rodeo Spectacle
A magical moment takes place each year at the National Finals Rodeo (NFR) ,when a group of local kids take to the dusty arena floor to participate in the Exceptional Rodeo This spectacular program brings children with special challenges together with pro-rodeo athletes to participate in an adaptive rodeo event. Children are partnered with athletes at the Thomas and Mack Center, where the NFR takes place. The athletes guide the children through modified events, including bull riding, barrel racing, bronc riding, and more, while cheering them on and helping them complete each challenge.
