VKZ Kidpreneurs

![]()

As I was putting this publication together to highlight local kidpreneurs have been with VKZ since we started this a year ago, I was moved by how much each of these children have grown. Not just their business, but their confidence, their skills, their products and their enthusiasm to explore new things
Each young entrepreneur has turned around and helped another child at the market, from setting up their multi-layered table presentation to creating logos or brainstorming ideas for their next big new thing
My goal in creating the VKZ Monthly Kidpreneur Markets is to present local kids and their parents with opportunities to explore their interests, connect with fellow ambitious kids and discover new ways to express themselves.
I am honored to be a part of their journey as kidpreneurs and can’t wait to see what they will do in their very bright futures!

If you’ve never spent a day at the swap meet, this is your sign. Families can browse rows of unique vendors, grab lunch, discover hidden gems, and let kids explore, all under one roof. And tucked right into the action is the VKZ Kidpreneur Market, where local kids run their own businesses, sell handmade products, and practice real-world skills like customer service, pricing, and confidence
This month’s market comes with extra sparkle thanks to generous giveaways from some seriously fun local favorites. Families will have chances to win treats from Yonutz and Lazy Dog Restaurant, experience passes from Real Bodies and King Tut's Tomb, and prehistoric fun from Dinosaur Outpost. Add spa gift cards and surprise goodies, and you’ve got a raffle lineup that keeps kids (and parents) buzzing all afternoon
But the real magic happens at the tables This is where kids learn that their ideas matter, that “nervous” can turn into “proud,” and that selling a bracelet, a cookie, or a piece of art can be a huge confidence boost. Parents often say they come for one quick stop and end up staying for hours, cheering on young sellers, chatting with other families, and soaking in the positive energy Swing by for the giveaways
