Descriptive – Create data visualizations and dashboards using popular analytical tools: Tableau, Power BI and Google Analytics (Web Analytics).

PREDICTIVE PRESCRIPTIVE

Predictive – Learn core concepts of Data mining/Machine learning (techniques and outcome prediction methods using XLMiner, an Excelbased software). Mine heterogeneous data and apply popular classification and regression algorithms on real-world datasets (*participants may use work datasets for course project). Prescriptive – Perform decision modeling using spreadsheets and optimization techniques with Excel Solver. In today’s data-driven landscape, businesses survive and thrive by using data to garner insights for calculating strategic plans and making better decisions. Business Analytics is the new competitive advantage as understanding current results and predicting future possibilities are crucial steps towards optimizing across business operations.
