EJ TECH

PENTAMAC was founded in 1999 by the founding partners Felice and Tiziano Pariani, already owners of VISEL snc, a company that for more than forty years has been designing, developing and selling electronic equipment CNC for machine tools. Thanks to the fifteen years of experience gained in VISEL in the field of CNC and retrofitting and the knowledge of the Asian market due to an agency representing its products in Taiwan, the members decided to start importing only mechanical structures and “equip”, in-house, with CNC VISEL, electrical parts and motorizations (Yaskawa). At first, a few units were imported and sold directly to end customers; later, the product range was expanded, and the sales network began to expand with agents, representatives and exclusive visas, selling throughout the national territory and abroad. Today the company assembles and resells a hundred machines per year, with a wide range of milling and turning machines, from simple CNC milling machine to universal multi-axis machining centers. PENTAMAC is supplied by a few, historical and selected Asian suppliers of proven seriousness and technological depth; the relationships, consolidated for over twenty years, Ensure continuous sourcing with involvement in development decisions for the realization of new products. In 2022, with the arrival of Elena Pariani, daughter of owner Tiziano, the company reached its third generation; this new structure has allowed PENTAMAC to evaluate future choices and objectives with greater foresight. In fact, besides maintaining and supporting the current vocation of importers of structures and internal assembly of electrical-electronic and technological parts, PENTAMAC has started an internal division for the design, development and

complete construction of mini and micro five axis work centres. Regarding this, PENTAMAC has participated in several fairs and events dedicated to the micro-machining sectors: in 2023, the debut at the international trade fair EPHJ in Geneva (CH), specifically dedicated to the watch sector, has aroused strong interest and curiosity among participants towards the μERA and ERA160 model lines. Following further studies of the markets of interest, the company has decided to invest in the expansion of the range of micro-machines by importing from the same Taiwanese suppliers of high reliability, micro-vertical machine centers and microlathes at more affordable prices, making ad hoc changes to meet the needs of the sector. In 2025, the participation in the renowned T-GOLD of VICENZAORO in January allowed PENTAMAC to present these products, attracting interest both internationally and in the Italian market. Finally, in February, Pentamac also participated for the first time at the international fair of eyewear MIDO in Milan: this event was strongly desired because not only the company has been operating in the sector for years, but above all because, having a warehouse of property in Belluno, “homeland” of the eyewear sector, has allowed to confirm its presence in the market, both with range of products offered, and at territorial level. All the CNC used (produced by VISEL) are state-of-the-art with high performance while maintaining the typically Italian philosophy of user friendly, allowing extreme simplicity in use. VISEL invests considerable resources in the design and development of its own CNCs to ensure a high-quality standard using the latest technologies both in hardware and software. The total fleet sold currently exceeds 2,200 units, after-sales service and assistance is guaranteed by a team of “mechatronic” technicians specialized in mechanics, electronics and software, where nothing is left to chance. To expand and ensure an even more efficient service, PENTAMAC, some years ago, opened its own technical and

Proponiamo prodotti a catalogo, ma siamo specializzati soprattutto in soluzioni “Taylor Made”.

“EVERY PROJECT STARTS FROM A CONCRETE NEED”: A CONVERSATION WITH LUCA NESPOLI, PARTNER AND SALES MANAGER AT TVN TECH SRL

E nel trattamento delle ceneri? Anche lì ogni laboratorio è diverso. Noi garantiamo recupero efficiente, qualità omogenea e impianti automatizzabili.

Your motto could be “from needs to solutions”. Where does that come from? “It comes from years of field experience. Each machine responds to a real, specific request. We also offer products from our catalogue , but we’re mainly specialised in ‘Taylor Made’ solutions.

How important is customization today? “It’s essential. A standard system is no longer enough. With tubes, for example, you have different thicknesses, lengths, materials. The system must adapt to the customer – not the other way around.” What about ash treatment? “Every lab is different. We guarantee efficient recovery, consistent quality and full automation, all adapted to each customer’s space and workflow.” What kind of support do you offer after installation? “We continue to support customers through training, remote assistance and quick access to spare parts. Many come back to us after years for upgrades. That kind of trust is our biggest achievement.” What does the future look like? “More automation, more interconnection – but also user-friendly systems. Efficiency must go hand-in-hand with sustainability and adaptability. That’s where we’re investing…

are young, to bring fresh ideas and energy. What contributions do you expect from the new board members for the growth of the association and the sector? The new board members will bring diverse expertise, fresh perspectives, and a greater openness to innovation. I expect them to actively contribute to the development of strategies that will strengthen the association’s international presence, enhancing visibility and support for member companies. Furthermore, one of our key objectives is to increase the number of members, expanding from the current 50 to 60 within the first year, and to reinforce our participation in major industry events and trade fairs. How does A.F.E.M.O. intend to support and promote Italian excellence in the goldsmithing technology sector, in this moment of international turbulence, possible trade wars and risks of new tariffs?

The goal of trade fair exhibitors is to engage in personal discussions with potential business partners, maintain and intensify current customer relationships and facilitate networking and market monitoring. “The concept of the new PARTS FINISHING trade fair is targeted at enabling exhibitors to achieve this goal with minimal costs and staffing requirements,” reports Nicolas Herdin, who assumed the role of managing director at private trade fair promoters fairXperts GmbH & Co. KG in January 2025. The approach begins by bringing together solutions for deburring, component cleaning and surface finishing at a single event. The range of exhibits covers everything from systems, processes, tools and media, right on up to quality assurance and services – from standalone processes to interlinked production lines. “Bringing together these complementary manufacturing steps makes it possible for suppliers to present their entire product portfolio in an ideal interdisciplinary context. It also makes it easier for exhibitors to establish strategic partnerships with each other,” explains Nicolas Herdin. On the other hand, visitors from the fields of production management, planning and control, as well as product and process development, design and quality assurance, can gain a comprehensive overview of the state of the art, current developments and trends for company-specific optimisation of three process steps which are essential in every parts production process. Highly Cost-Effective Thanks to 2-Day Trade Fair and Customisable Booth Packages In a challenging economic environment, it’s important for manufacturing companies to demonstrate their capabilities to potential and existing business partners. At the same time, companies are under pressure to cut costs and use existing budgets as efficiently as possible. PARTS FINISHING provides support in this regard too. On the one hand, the trade fair lasts for just two days which reduces idle time to a minimum for establishing and maintaining contacts, as well as costs incurred for personnel and accommodation. On the other hand, turnkey, customisable booth packages starting at 12 square metres of exhibition floor space reduce the workload both before and during the trade fair. Even the basic package, offered at a fixed price, includes not only floor space rental fees but

rather top-quality booth construction as well with basic furnishings, printing of wall signage provided by the exhibitor, electrical hook-up and power consumption, as well as services which are normally invoiced separately at other trade fairs. “Exhibitors are thus able to calculate their costs precisely,” adds the managing director. Knowledge Transfer as Additional Benefit Exhibitor presentations will be complemented by a transfer of knowledge at the bilingual PARTS FINISHING expert forum, which will be held on both days of the trade fair. Solutions for actual applications, current developments, and trends from all three trade fair topics will be at the centre of attention at the simultaneously interpreted presentations (German <> English).
