The Vecellio Companies again participated in National Work Zone Awareness Week which took place April 17-21, 2023. The National Asphalt Pavement Association’s 2023 campaign - Watch For Us - educated the public on the dangers of distracted driving in work zones. Be Prepared to Beat the Heat

All employees need to be familiar with common heat-related illnesses, their symptoms, and how to treat them.

Heat Cramps, Heat Exhaustion, and Heat Stroke are the most common illnesses caused by overexposure to the sun and exceedingly high temperatures..

Working outside during extreme heat requires planned breaks and drinking plenty of water throughout the day.

The Safety organization recently updated all of the companies’ Employee Safety Handbooks for 2023.

All employees should receive a copy of your specific handbook and become familiar with the important information included.

You can never be too safe on the job to ensure you and your coworkers go home without incident at the end of each day. Safety is everyone’s responsibility.
