Something Scary and Political

Dustin Lee is a Richmond-based artist originally from Loudoun County, who works on wood panels. His pop culture references and sharp color contrasts are used to showcase criticism of today’s rampant misuse of media. While his work is serious, Lee states “I want humor to be in my work, even the heavy ones use some sort of pop culture reference, you know, to lighten the mood.”
