M a p The VCU Multilingual Ambassador Program

The VCU Multilingual Ambassador Program (MAP) began in Fall 2021 as part of the VCU REAL Challenge Grant Initiative. The program aims to connect multilingual students at VCU with multilingual students in Virginia K-12 school divisions.

MAP Goals

n Support the confidence building, identity development, and community building of multilingual students in Virginia urban, suburban and rural public schools; and

n Provide high-impact leadership opportunities for multilingual students at VCU to offer meaningful community based learning opportunities
