For most of the activities listed here, including ‘free’ programs, you’ll first need to register online using your Activenet account. For most recreation center activities, you’ll also need an active membership, or a 30-day or a single day pass. These can be purchased online or in any of our seven recreation centers.

How to Book Personal Training

Sign up at any of our seven recreation centers or fill out the online request form to get matched with a trainer.

Personal Training

Hit your fitness goals with customized personal training, available at all seven recreation centers.

FITNESS CONSULT - FREE

Get started with a 30 minute informational session with a Personal Trainer.

FITNESS ASSESSMENT - $25

To reach your goals, you must know where you’re starting from. Determine your current fitness level, training goals, and a strategy for improvement with a 60 minute assessment provided by our nationally accredited certified personal trainers.

TRY PACK - $100

An introductory personal training package that will get you started on the right foot. This package includes a 60-minute fitness assessment and two 45-minute personal training sessions.

SMALL GROUP TRAINING SESSIONS

Specialized, focused training designed for groups of 3-12 people. Sessions take place 1-2 times a week over a 4, 6, or 8-week period. Sessions change seasonally, check the online listings for the next sessions.

Fee: $125 for members, $145 non members

EXERCISE RX PACKAGE - $75

The Exercise Prescription package includes an initial assessment session with a personal trainerto determine what type of programming is going to be needed, a workout program, and a follow-up 30 min session with the personal trainer.

Registration opens Jun 19

Offered in the fall for boys and girls (10U, 13U) and allows for a fun, recreational, limited-contact way to play youth football. Uniforms (t-shirts) will be provided

Fee: $75 per player

Fall Season: Six game season begins Sep. 1 on Friday evenings at Princess Anne Athletic Complex.

YOUTH SWIM LEAGUE

Join the Seatack Sharks, Williams Farm Wahoos, Bayside Marlins, Kempsville Stingrays, Bow Creek Barracudas, Great Neck Gators or Princess Anne Piranhas. Swim League introduces or improves on the four competitive strokes, starts, and turns. Swimmers are introduced to low-level competition while the focus is on improving stroke techniques. The Swim League is offered to youth ages 6-17 years. Leagues at all seven rec centers.

TINY BOBBERS WITH ADULT GUARDIAN

A safe and fun introduction to the water for children ages 1-2 to share with a participating adult guardian.

PADDLER (AGE 3) & PADDLER (AGE 4 & 5)

Designed for children to learn water adjustment, basic swimming and safety skills in a fun, small group setting.

LEARN

TO SWIM LEVELS 1 - 6

This six-level program allows students to progress at their own pace, mastering the skills in one level before advancing to the next.

ADULT WATER POLO

Play pick-up-style water polo with other experienced players. Coaching staff will be available for rule enforcement and explanation for those who are relatively new to the game. While knowledge of the sport is recommended, all skill levels are welcome to come try the game out.

WORLD’S LARGEST SWIM LESSON

Join us for this free event as we join hundreds of other facilities around the world in hosting the 2024 edition of the World’s Largest Swim Lesson!

Your child will learn valuable life saving skills and water safety tips from our certified Water Safety Instructors in a 30 minute session that includes both dry land and in-water skills.

Take the fear out of falling.
