THE LAKES AT Waterway Village Golf League

Five years ago, a small group of neighbors formed a weekly men’s golf outing. Our goal was to create an outstanding golf venue and offer Lakes neighbors an opportunity to meet and get acquainted. Many wonderful friendships have been established through these efforts. We play every Friday morning at the nearby Sandridge Golf Club.

This year we’re celebrating our 5th anniversary season, and what began as an 18-member group has grown to 61 members, representing nearly 12% of the Lakes community. We have players of all skill levels and feature several annual events, including our popular Mixed Scramble.

It includes About Us, Player Essentials, Events, Golf News & Links, and areas such as health & safety features, online instructional clinics, and much more. One of the health tips we feature informs our members how the summer heat can negatively affect the performance of certain medications.

Although our LWV Men’s Golf League is restricted to Lakes residents, showcasing what one community is doing to build fellowship and social opportunities might interest you.
