mailing bags include a label for free return to the library. Items are checked out for 6 weeks. They may be renewed twice, by request. And there are no overdue fines.

If you’re an avid reader, the St. Louis County Library can even help you find your next book! Just tell them about your reading preferences, and they’ll suggest similar books that you may like. And, if your friends also love to read, book discussion kits are available that include multiple copies of a book as well as a discussion guide for fun conversations.

The St. Louis County Library also hosts hundreds of virtual programs on topics like physical fitness, mental health, social issues, arts and crafts, book clubs and more. And, if you would like to learn more about technology or other resources, you can set a one-on-one appointment with a Genealogist, a Librarian or a Trainer.

The St. Louis County Library also offers more than just books. You can check out tabletop games, musical instruments, video games, telescopes, binoculars, portable projectors, and more.
