Branding – Logo and Name Instruction – Choose a name for the object that best defines it and your characteristics. Choose a typeface (and a suited font option) and write the name.
TYPE FACE – Imbue, Shettricka These fonts were chosen due to their differing feelings, while imbue capitals is more solid, dark and fun, there is a hint of elegance and softness with the shettricka cursive.
NAME – Ad Infinitum • This translates to ‘Again and again in the same way’ in Latin. It alludes to the constant undying flavours of the cookies which remains undampened through time.
AD
• Infinity and yum = Infinitum

Instruction – Sketch a design for packaging your object and incorporate the name with the chosen typeface.
Packaging
An oven like appearance, with a preview of what is inside, creating the feeling of excitement. Pull out trays, design to continue the theme of the oven. There is very selective views given to the inside of the packaging unless the trays are individually opened up for inspection and usage. I’m often very friendly and inviting like the warm oven, but my true “ingredients and flavours” aren’t seen until later.

The final words of the novel. It is the snapping branch and the final sentence that confirms the death of her old loving self, and shift to the cold dark and cutthroat identity of the Queen of Hearts.

Introduction Grade 4 – Sticker trading During the forth grade, a new fever had swept over the school, especially our grade, called sticker trading. It was as simple as the name denotes it to be, everyone would have photo albums filled to the brim with every type of sticker; flat ones, softie ones, 3D ones, and the most celebrated jelly ones.
Reflections - The phase had come and gone in a year, but it had developed the sense of interest and excitement in keeping a collection of something, and building something on my own, even as small as stickers. - And this experience, being a part of something but also being able to convince other people to trade for what you want, it was a win and an accomplished dose of serotonin that my 9 year old self loved.
Product - To recreate the obsession that took over everyone in building their collection, no matter with what quality of stickers filled their pages. - An animation which plays the journey from discovery to obsession to normal again.
This trend had taken a different toll on everyone, Some had bought in bulk the cheapest stickers they could find to gain in quantity, while some had gone and specifically bought the expensive ones to gain in status. For me, I’d gotten in pretty late, but my initial days of intel gathering had proved to be useful. My starting stickers were just softies and a few 3D, but in a week, I’d been able to get a variety, even a jelly sticker.

Concept Artwork Capitalism Showing mirrored worlds, one where the character is happy and just chasing after things that make them happy.
On the mirror side, the character is doing the same with bigger goals, but its pushing them into a darker world, full of hateful and greedy emotions.

Typology and Titles
Experiments were done with different names with the theme of climbing and going after their goals, building their empire.
At the end, the final typeface is a clear and colourful logo, which goes with the initial inspiration from stickers, which come in many a variety.

Symbol / Logo
Multi-coloured and eye catching due to it being a happy childhood memory.
Split into pieces and geometrically divided, like a puzzle which one needed to put together, similar to stickers in a collection album. A mountain representing the upward climb, how one has to work to get each piece and each sticker to build their empire.

Characters
Reference – Red Ball, The Game
They were originally going to be human figures, but the concept of capitalism affects people from the start of their life, as this memory story tells. Making child figures would’ve marginalized the animation in terms of audience, and hence small abstract rock like figures were taken as the characters.
The animations in this game featured a 2D style gameplay, which is what I integrated in my animations, as to give it a playful feel initially. The main components here were, the landscape backgrounds (signifying mood), section cut grounds with natural details, and contrast between characters.
Research – Most collected objects To propagate the theme of capitalism, greediness and hoarding, a look was required into the lighter side of this phenomenon. The hobby version would be collectors, which have become the sticker collections in each scene. A quick search yielded the following results; Coins, Stamps, Jewellery or more sentimental items such as; images, flowers, music, and more. These were soon sketches and made assets.

Story board
Grey Stonie is sitting, and hears other balls roll by. He see they are very colourful and follows them. The landscape is brightly coloured with small pretty trees. Runs into Fups, who trades a sticker with him. This makes Stonie very happy and excited as he grows slightly, and gets a streak of colour. Continues rolling, and collects 2-3 more dobs and becomes bigger and happy. Stonie gets a red glow, starts going faster, overcoming obstacles and collecting more. The landscape colours change to become darker, with tall trees and wary music. He reaches a mountain with a danger fragile sign and stickers on top. His greed pushes him to step on the mountain, and it shakes and cracks under his size. He falls into a pit and start calling for help. The characters from earlier come, and each of them gives a sticker of their own, to create a ladder for Stonie to use. Once he reaches the top, he gives them all a sticker each, and rolls off happy with them.
