WELCOME TO OSLO’S ACTION HOUSE

We have built a wooden cabin indoors, at Megazone in the center of Oslo! In our cozy living room you may find Oslo’s nicest bar, and as many as four street curling lanes. This is a new activity and we are the first to offer it Norway. We are very much looking forward to letting you experience the warm and pleasant atmosphere, while you play and have fun!

Looking for a venue for your gathering, kickoff, Christmas party, meeting or birthday? The lanes can be booked for games at any time. If you are a larger group, Fjellstua can be booked exclusively.

THE ART CENTRE TBS

TBS Gallery is two buildings with exhibitions, a studio, an artist residence and a small sculpture park by Hegdehaugsveien. The gallery is based on the artist Tore Bjørn Skjølsvik and his life’s work. By presenting one person’s works from different phases of his life, one gets to know his person and his creations. We look at Skjølsvik, and in his study of human beings he looks back at us. This reflection emerges in the sculptures and paintings that adorn the gallery. Rough strokes and texture characterizes the artist’s creative production. Representations of horses in full gallop stand among people and animals from the artist’s life, in addition to well-known characters from our own time and Norwegian history, such as Ole Gunnar Solskjær and Fridtjof Nansen. The gallery’s permanent exhibition invites interpretation and reflection, with the artist’s curiosity and humor as central elements.

Bogstadveien and Hegdehaugsveien with side streets offer an incredible diversity of shops, cafes, restaurants and culture.

We are a «multi-brand» street with traditional high-end stores, individual specialty stores that you won’t find anywhere else, and exciting chain and concept stores. We have over 150 restaurants, cafes and delicatessens that offer flavors from around the world to local ingredients.

Our unique shopping location offers many exciting experiences. There are over 40 businesses here; modern house interior and design shops, art galleries, craft shops and eateries only 25 minutes from Oslo.

EXCITING SHOPPING

In Handelshuset, the large brick building where the old iron works were once located, you will find modern shops today. Among other things, two large interior design stores, several great design and fashion stores, and a large sports shop that is known for its professionally skilled service. Verksgata, which consists of old worker houses from the 18th century, is open seven days a week all year round. Here you will find a metal forge,

glassblowers, silversmith, galleries and unique shops.

GOOD FOOD

Good food is a part of the experience when you visit us, so take the time to taste some of Bærum Verk’s delicious specialties. Here there are six restaurants in total. If you feel like pancakes, real italian pizza, delicious baked goods or a real manor house meal, then you will get that here with us.

HARALD HUYSMAN KARTING

GET READY FOR A REALLY AWESOME RACING EXPERIENCE!

Harald Huysman Karting (HHK) is the country’s largest and most professional kart racing centre. We offer indoor kart racing at Alnabru in Oslo, and outdoor kart racing at Rudskogen Motorsenter in Østfold. Centrally in the courtyard of VIA you will now find monumental sculptures by the Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone.

«Oslo mountain» 2024 is made especially for VIA Vika. The five meter high sculpture is modelled on stones that the artist has carefully selected. “White, red, yellow, blue mountain” 2023, consists of four stones that the coastguard has found.

Both sculptures are colorful eye-catchers, and we hope they will inspire and delight both VIA’s tenants and visitors.
