2021 SUMMER COLLECTION
LAKESIDE LIBERATION When you have 520 miles of shoreline to explore, there is no shortage of routes and interesting lakeside destinations to put on the agenda. We decided to celebrate our first outing of the summer by exploring the vast waters of North Carolina’s largest man-made body of fresh water, Lake Norman. We put some of our new fishing gear to the test in search of Largemouth Bass, White Bass, Channel Catfish, Bluegill and the Yellow Perch that inhabit the lake. (Some of us fared better than others!) Life on the pontoon boat is slower and begs for frequent swim stops, cannonballs and libations but we were on a mission and couldn’t pause too long until we found the perfect island to inhabit for a day full of outdoor pursuits.
