Ethereal Rose

Arose

is a rose is a rose, until of course, it is reimagined by Varaluz. Inspired by a drawing that appeared in the Japanese design magazine, Shin-Bijutsukai (New Oceans of Art), Ethereal Rose marries swirling lines of varying thicknesses and irregular curves with a mid-century metal work technique. At the center of each rose is a multi-faceted round optic quality crystal element. The hanging stems and secondary canopy complete the wispy design motif. A Havana Gold hand-painted multi-layered finish features a unique Ombré that gets darker with additional antiquing around the crystal centers.

Patchwork

In 1856, pioneering British architect and designer, Owen Jones, literally wrote the book on design in the machine age, The Grammar of Ornament. The Patchwork collection by Varaluz is inspired by Jones’s seminal work which was lavishly illustrated in vivid chromolithographic color. Patchwork elevates the Greek decorative patterns and color tones featured in his design treatise, to create a cleaner, modern sensibility for the 21st century. Features hand-painted matte black and brass plated accents, with white cotton or patchwork vegan leather shades.

Hilton Head

Giustino

The Giustino collection is perfectly modern but rooted in early 1900s bold Art Deco tropes as seen in Smithsonian Libraries’ Special Collections. This name is taken from the Vivaldi opera, Il Giustino, which is told in three acts, much like a key Art Deco form which is represented in the three-layer base of these lamps.

Hopscotch

Our modern Hopscotch mirrors reflect the layered “hopping” blocks of the eponymous game. The bottom squares are removable, and the mirrors may lean against or be mounted to a wall. Available with gold or black frames.
