VAPITALY, MAY 27-29, ITALY

Words: Kirk Martin

In fair Verona, where we lay our scene. A pair of star-crossed vape companies prepare for a weekend of sun, amazing food, and good old-fashioned business.

Vapitaly was set in a large, buzzing hall that had attracted a large turnout of brands and consumers in attendance, making it a wonderful setting to meet clients and network.

Day two was particularly busy, which was fantastic to witness and be a part of. A constant buzz of interested crowds surrounded the booths from every direction.

There was a good mix of smaller, local companies alongside the big boys like Kiwi, Elfbar, Vaporesso, Moti and Upends.

Vapeitaly was a very well organised show with great communication from the teams with regards to the booths and the day-to-day game plan. There was a decent mixture of information and conference-style talks as well as giveaways on the main stage. There was also an outdoor conference and livestream truck.

Verona itself is a beautiful place and cultural spectacles to behold - including lovely little squares, Roman arenas, and the famous Juliet’s Balcony. The weather was amazing, and the Italian food definitely lived up to its expectation of being some of the best in the world.

All in all, they put on a great show in an amazing setting and I really look forward to coming back next year.
