AND THE LIST goes on...

This graphic – created by Edward Hubert - puts cigarettes and vaping side-by-side and outlines some of the potential risks associated with each.

Naturally, the smoking column dwarfed vaping, with its gruesome list of harms pouring down the page.

Just some of the health impacts included were COPD, stroke, bronchitis, infertility, a collection of various cancers and, of course, death. The list was shared in response to a statement from the President of the Royal Australian College of GPs.

The statement read: “A Cancer Council Victoria report found almost 9 in 10 adults want government action to stop a new generation of Australians from becoming addicted to nicotine.

“It’s welcome news that so many people recognise the dangers of vaping, particularly for young people.”

Hubert highlighted that the College of GPs president ‘must not know’ nicotine is in cigarettes, adding ‘harms of nicotine addiction’ under the smoking column and as the ONLY entry in the vaping list.
