Fuel Handling Range Extension Vapormatic has extended the fuel handling range to include replacement hoses and nozzles. The new range includes product suitable for use with portable transfer units and bulk fuel storage systems, typically with 1” and ¾” BSP connectivity.

The nozzles are constructed from steel, aluminium and ABS plastic for long life and reliable service. The delivery hoses are internally braided with stainless steel wire for strength and flexibility. Suitable for refuelling tractors, combine harvesters, plant and most other diesel based applications. For more information please see below.

Bulk tank filtration is critical to protecting your vehicles’ fuel system. The treatment of bulk fuel and elimination of water is key to preventing unwanted bacterial growth and coagulation of particulate matter, which can cause serious damage to an engine fuel system.

Star Tron Diesel Fuel Additive Part No. VLB1044 - 237ml bottle – Treats up to 1,000 litres of diesel. (Pack of 12) Part No. VLB1045 - 1 litre bottle – Treats up to 3,785 litres of diesel. (single pack) Vapormatic Star Tron is an enzyme fuel additive for diesel. ‘Star Tron’ has all the benefits of improving combustion, emissions and efficiency, but also effectively controls unwanted bacteria that can grow in diesel tanks.

When diesel fuel sits in a tank with excessive air space, the daily temperature changes produce condensation (water formation) on tank walls. This water falls into the fuel where it sinks to the bottom, providing a breeding ground for the bacteria, mould, yeast and fungi known as “diesel algae.”

Common treatment for this problem up until now has been the use of a biocide to kill existing growth and prevent a future infestation. The use of a biocide can however cause other problems. Once the growth is killed, the resulting biomass settles to the tank bottom where it decays, forming organic acids. The acids then deteriorate the fuel and cause corrosion of the tank walls, injectors and fuel delivery system.

Star Tron uses Enzyme Technology to disperse microbial growth throughout the fuel. These microbial particles are then either safely burned away or filtered out.

Other features:  Cleans injectors, fuel delivery system and combustion chambers  Dramatically increases the shelf life of fuel. Inline Vehicle Fuel Conditioning The Vapormatic Purafiner fuel conditioner is an easy to fit tried and tested solution installed inline before the primary fuel filter for controlling bacteria in diesel fuel.
