Service led by local Preacher All Services held at Aldbourne Methodist Church. All are welcome to join us.

As we move on through this year, we are praying Christmas will be a time to celebrate with family and friends. But, we also think of people we know who may be on their own at Christmas. Can we invite them during the festival time in to our homes? Maybe they might like to be invited to our Christmas morning service on Saturday Dec 25th, at 9am? This is such a special time to be in Church. I cannot put into words how special it is — there is always so much excitement for the children who are up opening presents early before Church in their homes then choosing which gifts to bring along to church, to show off. We also think of this special time, when Jesus was born, all those years ago when the excitement in that stable must have been amazing. Carols are back on Monday December 22nd at 7pm — See you there! Join us for ‘Carols Round the Tree’ in The Square, Ramsbury, with the Ramsbury Silver Band.

Due to the Covid situation, there will be no mince pies and hot drinks after the singing. But keep safe all.

Coffee morning

Since moving back to Lychgate Room, the numbers coming along to join for coffee, have gone down to a very small number, so at the moment, I am not sure how long we can carry on. We are happy to carry on if the number increases soon again. The last coffee morning before Christmas will be held on Thursday December 9th at 9am until 11am. It’s such joy to join with friends for coffee; times are so precious. Windows are open to keep everyone safe and sanitiser is on the door, and masks on when entering. It may be a case that coffee morning will only run in the summer months in our Garden again. We will just have to monitor the next few weeks, to see how things go. Thank You to all for the support we have received during this year; keep well and keep safe, and well over Christmas time.

Call for strips...The Knitting Group will meet on Tuesday, December 14th from 2pm, at 55a, High Street, Ramsbury.
