January is over, while February has just dawned. How many of us kept up with our New Year resolutions? Especially, with the promises we made to our bodies, skin and make-up regime. Remember, our PDNHXSGRHVQRWGH¿QHXVRXU skin does. The good thing about make-up LVWKDWLWFDQEHZDVKHGR̆DQGUHplaced. However, you can’t say the same thing about your skin. We tend to forget that our skin is a living organ. It is delicate, sensitive and needs much TLC. :HDOOKDYHGL̆HUHQWVNLQW\SHV It is imperative to become familiar with your own. One thing I do know, for sure, is that not enough of us look after our skin. We use products without knowing if they are right for us. This article will, hopefully, give you the education and knowledge UHTXLUHGWRJLYH\RXFRQ¿GHQFH when handling your skin type. Beauty is not simply skin-deep.
We base our visual impression of a person on their attire, individuality, style and body language. Our beauty care regime should consist of cleansing, toning and moisturizing. How many of us are aware of this? It is imperative to remove of all signs of dirt, oil and residual make-up. This is the beginning of a good skin care regime. ROSKEN SKIN REPAIR
Dry skin care products are produced by all the leading brands and are widely available. Learning how to take care of dry skin with skin care products that are speciÂżcally made for dry skin types is so important. 7he Âżrst step in caring and protecting dry skin is the cleansing factor. Cleansing should be done only once a day at most, if you are aĚˆicted with dry skin. ,t is essential that you use cleansing products that are made for dry or sensitive skin so that you can avoid taking away the natural hydration of your skin. Treat your skin with TLC. Do not switch products. Give the product the opportunity to work before changing. Respect your skin.
BEA U T Y ‡2LO\6NLQ3URGXFWV
Always cleanse using a gel cleanser and moisturize, using a light moisturizer or serum. Another product that many people with acne-prone skin forget is sun-screen because many products cause people with acne-prone skin to break out further. ,f you have oily skin, there are many products available to make your skin care regime as easy as possible. The advantage of having oily skin under control is that you can look younger than your years.

Twice daily, use a mild baby soap and water and tone with something mild – like Rose Water. At night, to keep your skin’s normal moisture balance, apply a thin ¿lm of moisturizer. Follow every cleansing with a mild freshener to keep pores tight and to remove traces of cleanser clinging to the skin. Use an astringent with low alcohol content. Always use a mild, oil-based moisturizer under make-up to help retain surface moisture. Guard against the drying, aging ĕects of the sun by using make-up products that contain a sun-screen.
