Lighting is crucial to achieve the desired concept. Warm lighting and atmosphere resembling the sun of Povence.
The "Ice Breaker" zone, a giant round washbasin that serves as a mediator between consumers and shop staff, draws the visitor's attention when they first enter the store instead of flat screens. This serves as a powerful metaphor for L'Occitane's decision to reduce the apparent presence of digital devices in its retail spaces.
