5/24/15 JIM KOK ACCEPTS "PASTOR EMERITUS" RECOGNITION @ SHEPHERD's GROVE (ex- crystal cathedral):three pastors were given special recognition today at the shepherd grove church . Jim Kok, Juan Carlos Ortiz, & Bill Bennet all served as pastors at the Crystal Cathedral while Robert H. Schuller was still leading, and jim KOk & Bill Bennet continued to serve at the new location, although I'm not personally sure in what capacity. I"m not sure about Juan Carlos. Today they were designated "pastors emiritus" , or emiriti, I suppose is the correct plural form of the word. Jim Kok served at the CC since 1984, in the pastoral care office, and led the annual kindness conference, among other things.
