2 miles at Sunset Beach at Sunrise , made 8/22/20 August 22 2020 #prayerWalk in Bellflower (decent some video upload progress , Met with JimLin at a place called Fronk's food but not so great workers) & then I went back to Sunset. August 23 Sunday- slept at Sunset Beach took a 2-mile #prayerWalk in the morning at sunrise & a swim, video upload progress, another swim at 1 p.m. - pretty warm day. 230pm Trump talks about ✝ evangelism progress. P75 convalescent plasma . more video progress .more maps August 24 Monday slept at Sunset Beach- my oil dipstick is empty in my vehicle -how could - & had that be possible ? I had to drive across the desert to Las Vegas to get back- very hot to refill the oil a few times but it NEVER went totally dry -so now I'm wondering what's going on . There is a small puddle of oil underneath my car . Took a #prayerWalk at sunset - at sunset . August 25 Tuesday went back to Brothers repair shop but that was disappointing upon return - first time I was there they were great - even gave free cold drinks, but this time NOT so great - so i left -they wanted an outrageous diagnostic fee. Also called Flacco's - they wanted $40 for diagnosis, & then I checked Jorge's -they wanted $45 - kept calling around to different repair shops - now I have other problems -finally found this place called Hans- he's a sole proprietor- I think he's Korean -seems like a decent fellow & NO diagnostic fee. He took the time to look everything over - my radiator was leaking as well. And he said the rear main seal had a small leak after doing a smoke test - he showed it to me . so I went over to Pep Boys after that - I don't want to put a new radiator in - I just did that 2 years ago in San Diego for $700 ) & they didn't give a warranty (they took full financial advantage of my emergency situation beyond 2 years (conveniently for them)- so I tried some stop leak from Pep Boys & it actually worked I couldn't believe it - it totally stopped everything . There wasn't even a drop coming through- so some of that "miracle" stuff DOES actually work . But the oil is still leaking

P76 August 26 Wednesday slept at sunset PTG x 1000 - suddenly I have severe back pain . also called the IRS about my stimulus check that I never received & I also filed for auto retirement with the Bureau of Automotive Repair - they pay from $1000 to $1500 ( depending on your circumstances) for you to retire your vehicle (only every two years) for different purposes & criteria - read more at their website if you're interested only in California ). Took a swim x3 & a #prayerWalk at sunset. video uploads complete. More maps ✝ evangelism progress.

I always have a new P77 August 26th Thursday PTL 1000 during my #prayerWalk prayer of the day but it always begins with praise thanks & love (PTL) the Lord - also magnify unifiy & glorify (MUG). Less back pain today -took a swim x2 also another #prayerWalk Saw kid at Sunset Beach maybe 8 years old trying to surf but he didn't know how to duck-dive to get under the waves - he kept trying & trying to go over the wave but the wave kept pushing him back - he was so small no body weight. I'm always a little nervous in this day & age about talking to kids - b/c helicopter parents are so protective & suspicious but there weren't any parents there -& I realized he lives right there - the beach is his front yard -& he just walked out of his house - even so- very rare to see a kid unsupervised these days . So I walked over to him after he came out & I tried to tell him he needs to dive under the wave. He just said " i know - its just not my day". We both just laughed . "Made Him to be sin for us

It Garage in Seal Beach. They looked it over & tried a new oil filter & it actually worked stopped the oil leaking- so that was another blessing- 2 potential major problems solved by an oil filter & stop leak - less than 40 bucks . Interesting thing- these two mechanics are both Christians & they noticed some of the Christian material on my vehicle & we started talking about it. One lives way out in Bloomington near Fontana & drives into Seal Beach everyday to work- that's a long commute. August 29th Saturday: - ouch I got stung by a stingray for the 4th or 5th time - so many stingrays at Sunset Beach - everyday I see people getting stung here & lifeguards coming with hot water for them to soak their foot - it's actually very very painful even though after two or three hours it does go away . I spent three hours soaking my foot in hot water in my vehicle -fortunately I can heat up water in a pan on my little portable stove. I got stung right between the toes. August 30th Sunday: PTG x 1000 prayer of the day for Unity of ✝ evangelism the BODY of Christ -making progress on prayer book dictation & maps evangelism , & still recovering from stingray sting. August 31 Monday: PTG 1000- prayer of the day for mission vehicle which seems okay for now . St Bonaventure 8:30 a.m. morning Mass. also went to Ralphs grocery.

I'm given a prescription for physical therapy at a place called MedNecessity in Orange California - actually switched it over to a different location in Long Beach but only went there once - wasn't that impressed with what they were doing. Also saw the tiniest little stingray in the sand - only the size of a small sand dollar & then the wave washed it back into the water.

October 22 Thursday: I went to see doctor Hertz about my hand. I said "Did you get the x-rays?" She quickly said: "X-rays only show broken bones." I know- I just wanted to know if you got the x-rays - you don't have to be a wise guy (or gal) about it . November 3 Tuesday: election day -no decision yet. Already signs of shenanigans in some states. Trump wins Florida, Texas, & Ohio - which usually indicates the ultimate victor. I was actually listening to late night radio - a show called Red Eye Radio and they were tracking the results and it looked like everything was going Trump's way and then suddenly a bunch of places just stopped counting the votes - it was very mysterious - and then there was a sudden surge for the other guy. And that's what led to all the complaints and allegations of election fraud along with apparently some factual data to back it up which we're still waiting to have properly litigated if it ever will happen. So far the Supreme Court has been very cowardly re hearing anything about it even though some of the so- called conservative justices have NOT been very pro-Trump (although Thomas is usually pretty reliable). You would think ACB who just got installed as a new Justice would have some allegiance to Trump as well as Kavanaugh but so far we have NOT really seen the fruit. Liberal justices always show allegiance to Democrats , but conservatives - you never know for sure. 1st thing I pulled out the dipstick for the transmission fluid & he kind of smirked & said "it should be running" but I wasn't trying to check the level - I just want to see the color nonetheless I didn't say anything - he's a little sarcastic at 50 years old - a little bit younger than me- he said he has a son in Huntington Beach but apparently not married -maybe divorced says he just met a girl in South Dakota so he's moving there & didn't want to drive there for some reason. Anytime you buy a car you got to be a little suspicious . Sometimes they may be spinning a tall tale- but he seemed to be legitimate after awhile- although he didn't want me to personally test drive it. That was strange & raised some red flags at first - but the price was good & the mileage was low & even though I didn't test drive it he test drove it with me in it so I could get a feel - not as good as if you test drive it yourself . He was a little quirky in that regard.

I wondered if he was trying to hide something or was just leery of letting someone else drive it if they get an accident. Decided to go with it and had the cash - he actually had agreed to $100 less in a text message but apparently he forgot about it because now he wanted $100 more. He had also said it was 4 -wheel drive but it wasn't . Although it does have some kind of traction system. Either he was confused or just being dishonest . He was a mask refuser. He would NOT wear a mask which didn't bother me - I WILL wear a mask -just to get along, but I don't really believe that they're much good for anything. He said he was a "Christ man" - not a Christian but a Christ man -originally from West Covina. He showed me a parking lot at a nearby Santa Barbara school where his old Subaru was still sitting -now abandoned - said this would be a goid place to park for a while to transfer items from one to the other. He had a lot of stuff in room where he unloaded it . He said he his van as well & I followed him to a Motel6 hotel was going to fly right out of there in a few days & he was just giving away things - not really anything I needed or wanted but he gave me one of those electric hand saws & a portable stove even though I already have one & a folding chair of some sort. I just took it for the time being & then we exchanged the cash & the title & signed everything. P148 November 19th Thursday: I spent the day in Santa Barbara - first at the DMV & then in a parking lot taking stuff out of my old van & putting it in the new van - & I couldn't believe it because around noon two people came crawling out of that guy's abandoned Subaru with the shattered windshield- a guy & his girlfriend- they were living in it - so tiny & a dog too! I had been working right next to it thinking it was an empty vehicle - that was really unbelievable. I don't know how they managed on the sidewalk . Then I drove to Oxnard to live in that tiny little thing. I'd rather live in a tent where my old van was retired & dismantled & they wrote a check to me for $1500 & took the Amtrak back to Santa Barbara where I got into my new van & hoped & prayed that it would be fine for a while (& it has been ex post facto I can say that he was fairly honest not perfectly honest but fairly honest ). 11/20 returned to LA in new mission vehicle -seems to be driving fine. TYLER . I only saw her once again after she insisted on a commitment from me - i actually saw her in Costa Rica at a social gathering - & she had a Tico boyfriend - & it seemed like she DIDN'T even recognize me- pretty sad - maybe she didnt really have any sincere affection for me at all . Then I got close to asking Kim to marry me but I felt called by God to go west & be a missionary & I don't know too many women who are willing to be missionary wives or pastor wives but especially not evangelist wives . It's not an easy life . There was also Missy, Amy, & Rachel among others. I loved them all. In fact there's a whole laundry list of great girl-women who I knew or dated short-term or longer who would have made great wives in general but not necessarily missionary wives or evangelist wives -probably not even pastor wives. it's a whole different calling even for the woman - the wife. Still haven't near here. The previous mission found that person - if she's out there. Lots of cotton farmers vehicle ended with over 252,000 miles. I drove it almost literally to its last gasp. It was acting very strange & unpredictable near the end there (read above). I think God kept it going just long enough to properly retire it.

One of the batteries I expected to die because it's going bad. The other one is a mystery because it's not that bad yet & so I'm wondering if that was some kind of miracle that God intervened to get me to go back to my car otherwise I probably would have been #prayerWalk ing to the capital building & who knows what kind of trouble I might have gotten sucked into just by being in the vicinity. Apparently they're trying to prosecute people who #prayerWalk ed into the capital building even though they #prayerWalk ed in innocently because the doors had been opened by the capital police. Didn't even know how to get back without maps on my phone - I finally had to ask somebody. In fact I #prayerWalk ed right past the capital building but I didn't see any of the chaos that was reportedly happening at the time . I didn't go that close but I was within easy visual site of it. So I'm not ing back to my car just after sure where the chaos was happening . I started #prayerWalk President Trump started speaking which they say is around the time that things started happening at the Capitol building. Got back into my car, got the tire repaired for $17, went to Lowe's to upload my videos . And that's when I first heard something was happening at the Capitol building. That's when I heard a woman had been killed by capital police. I also got a text message from Ali Alexander who was at the rally last night & was telling people it was happening. And then a text message from Washington DC mayor saying there was a curfew & so I started heading out of Washington DC around that time. Slept at a hotel in Arlington.

Now I'm going back to Washington DC just to look around and explore- but nothing's open - none of the museums nor the monuments etc. I went to the Walmart again for water refill, Whitehouse roads are still blocked off, thru Georgetown area, past the Lincoln Memorial, past the Jefferson Memorial, around the Potomac River. P80 January 16th Saturday: I slept near Blue Springs State Park & arrived at entry gate at 7am - a few cars already waiting for 8am entry , & least 10 cars already there by 7:30 . By 7:50 there were cars as far as I could see behind me .. so exciting to be there as it opened - i was one of the first out there by the water & a giant herd of manatees -many more than I saw last time I was here in the late afternoon . That's the key -you have to be here in the morning because they start to go out as the day progresses. And by 10 a.m. there's less & the ones that remain are more difficult to see because of the reflection on the water. Word of the day 'quotidian' -meaning 'every day daily life', 10:15 leaving Blue Springs, City of de Bary FL 1035, in Gemini Springs park is free - lovely but no manatees, no gators either . Thought I'd #prayerWalk around for a little while & wasn't planning on doing the whole 7-mile loop trail, but after I did 2 miles I figured well if I go back that's four miles -but If I go forward it's only five miles more - so I ended up doing the whole seven mile trail without water or food or anything.. pretty fun trail as well - the mileage goes fast because it's so interesting. You're on this tiny trail with St Johns River on one side & lots of different geology on the other side including animals - I saw wild pigs & piglets & some deer & lots of birds. Enjoyed a tuna sandwich on the return. Trump golf course - 100's of big palm trees line the side of the road alongside the golf course - fascinating conglomerate. Also drove by Mar-a-lago which is where Trump lives.

The Shark Wake Park is very cool -they have a nice ski jump -several ski jumps & things for water skiers & other types of water sports -as well as what looks like a zip line over the lake & a frisbee golf course, etc. OkeeHeeLee Park & Nature Center -coconuts floating in the water.

Palm trees here have coconuts - while the palm trees in California do NOT - it doesn't get warm enough. City of Jupiter is less commercial. Back on Military Trail road to Busch Wildlife Sanctuary Camera. Lady with pro camera gave me a 100-yard mean glare- Maybe because I didn't have a & this mask on - I can only guess- but good grief I'm a 100 yards away lady & we're outdoors is Florida - people aren't that uptight around here - at least most people haven't been so far.

Entry fellow seemed cool enough. Jupiter beach is beautiful - the 2-tone color of the water is incredible & the warmth of the water 71°. Wow- but NO waves -that's the only problem here in Florida. I like to have something physically challenging when I go in the water. P93 nice quick swim & sun bathe 1:30 to 2 p.m. but blank stares make me feel uncomfortable - so many tourists from all these different Northern States just sit on the beach & stare. You don't have any kind of social encounter with them. Cars from everywhere: Massachusetts, Indiana, California, Sanctuary was cool Iowa, South Dakota - everywhere except FL itself . LoggerHead Turtle but for a $5 donation you would hope they give you a little bit more to see - all they had were turtles in tubs in the parking lot because the whole place was under construction & then they had barriers so that you couldn't even go up to the edge of the tubs & look down into them. You could only see a few feet away from the tub. The coolest thing in Palm Beach is the Phil Foster's snorkel trail - very cool & free & parking was easy to find . You go in to the water & they have will stay there & there's a lot of these underwater structures they put down there so that fish . And I saw one of those giant starfish tropical fish . & it's about 100 yards or so- very nice about the size of a hubcap. Unfort I didn't have my underwater camera the first time so I didn't get a picture of it. Lots of bright small tropical fish & some medium & a few even large ones.

There's even a sunken boat there (& there's lifeguards if that's important to you) . Talk about the easiest job in the world - I can't imagine they have too many rescues to do here in the calm to me. p 96 There's a natural floor reef at the ocean inlet park which is by a pier & if you get too close to the pier there's a current that pulls you towards it . And there's also boats coming in & out at zone here. So full speed - they DON'T slow down - seems like there should be a no-wake the lifeguard whistled at me to turn back which I did. There were a few fish here but it wasn't that great. I found a gigantic lure which I tried casting later on & it broke my line after a few casts - way too heavy for my line. I asked the lifeguard about spearfishing & it seemed to upset him as if it would be cruel to the fish to go spearfishing. Well I don't have a spear gun (yet) - I was just asking- just curious - thinking about next time.- it would be nice to catch & cook. Some people have no problem eating fish or meat at a restaurant or buying at a store for some reason they think it's cruel if you go hunting or fishing. go figure. Now at Boynton Beach snorkeling.

January 22 2021 : Flamingo Marina -several manatees with algae growing on their bodies - not clean like the ones at Blue Springs. Also needle fish floating around on top of the green algae water - not very inviting for swimming that's for sure. You can rent kayaks here for $22 per hour . There's a huge osprey in a nest by the marina store sitting on eggs making a lot of noise surprising that they would build such a nest at such a low level so close to civilization actually on top of a man-made concrete pillar. You could actually reach out & touch the nest . I asked one of the young girls who was helping with the kayaks if the birds had built the nest themselves or if it was human assisted & she wise cracked "they built it themselves even the concrete pillar " haha - not funny. Fishing is not allowed by the Marina during daylight hours- only night fishing ? . noon to 12:30 I took a little hike on the Rowdy Bend trail, p 103 but NOT so rowdy actually quite tame & not very interesting - mostly forest. After that I drove a dirt road next to the canal and didn't see too much there. Cast my line around 1 p.m. - using that frog lure I found on the bank of the river in Iowa City . The ushers were watching so closely it felt a little overbearing. I don't like it when there's ushers watching everybody from behind or even worse when some churches have police officers -although usually not at any Catholic churches I've been to. Talk about a chilling effect. I lost my favorite pro-life sign (that said "Pray to End Abortion" in English on one side & Spanish on the other side) at that Lowe's because I left the back window open & it flew out. P106 January 24th Sunday: listening to radio station wvum 90.5 a good alternative Heading towards St. John Bosco church a few blocks from Marlins stadium & in the Little Havana neighborhood of Miami. I slept at a Miami Airport Hotel right by the landing strip - very cool . Past Marlins stadium - long line of cars for covid testing with cop cars everywhere . I was about to turn when I saw a cop car blocking the road & somebody behind me got angry & honked- what was I supposed to do ? There are people who love conformity so much - too much. Rooster crowing in the church parking lot at St John Bosco. Lady usher at the church was nitpicking about covering my nose. Church was packed - almost all latinos - I think I was the only anglo - so she picked on me for not having my nose covered. I left early - wanted to go to a few other churches before it was too late. Miami Street signs have a good system you know how most streets in cities around America have unique sometimes odd names. Well, Miami includes both the original personalized street name along with a number for every street so it's easier to navigate the grid. They really should do that in every city. 9 a.m. Corpus Christi Church in English - I entered after walking the whole way around the church because I didn't know where the one unlocked door was. That's the one thing about the first time at every location. You don't want people to think that you're a newbie there so you always try to follow the crowd & look like you've been there before, but sometimes the crowd isn't there - so I #prayerWalk ed all the way around & finally found the door. A priest was there & I said "How are you priest? " which sounded a bit awkward, then I added "father" - but I DON'T really like calling anybody father- not even my own father for that matter - sometimes "dad" but often I just call him Jim- not sure why that is. I used my plastic shield mask for the first time here & nobody objected. Parking in their structure costs $7 per hour so I actually parked in the street for half of that amount per hour . Was planning on going to the Museum of Art & Design but I got there one hour too early so I was just #prayerWalk ing around & I went on the MetroMover for a little while - that's a fun free thing to do (once) that goes high around Miami with good views .

However an alpha male Latino entered in with his family & kind of took my spot by just ignoring my presence as if I was invisible. Kind of demeaning - normally I would have objected or made a scene or done something but you know when you're at a place for the 1st time you're just trying to be polite. Plus he had his adult daughter who had a baby so i can only imagine how they would use that as a 'weapon' if there was an argument. I don't mind making space for the elderly or a mother with baby etc but the alpha latino didn't even bother being polite about itnonetheless I turned the cheek & moved over to a different part of the tram - pretty rude - I would call it latino supremacy . Then I went to the Museum of Art & Design - better known as the MOAD -I think it's operated by Dade College. It's in a historic building - the first floor of the museum is pretty boring mostly civil rights stuff - important but as they say "been there done that" way too many times. 2nd floor is mostly like modern art - kind of unique & it is free or actually they request a donation - not sure if it's mandatory whatever that means (that has always confused me) . He said he'd let me in free if I agreed to have my picture taken which seemed strange & I don't care - but nobody that I recall ever actually took my picture. Now 3 p.m. at parking structure I'm at the Museum of Contemporary Art - a museum which is known more for its impressively decorated parking structure than the museum itself . I'm also listening to Packers vs Buccaneers on the radio at Green Bay & I actually went inside the art museum at 4 p.m. & there was only one floor open at the time & it once again it was mostly civil rights stuff here as well - not very interesting. I had my plastic shield on as well as a cloth face mask & then I went to the outdoor courtyard for a while - there's a few sculptures out there- & a cat strutting around. I tried to pet it. Then I stepped back inside - I was planning on leaving but an alpha Latino employee snapped "Sir you need to have your nose covered ". My cloth mask underneath my plastic shield had come down a little bit under my nose & he jumped all over me.

The minute I stepped in the door it was like he was nitpicking & I finally snapped & said a few choice words back at him & walkef out. Very perturbed by his mishandling of that situation. Plus they were at least 25 feet away from me & nobody else was there. It was not so much of an actual health concern as it seemed like micromanaging - aka nitpicking . Other than that experience in Florida there was NOT a big uptight mask contingent - pretty laidback in general. Only three times in FL where somebody jumped all over me for not having my nose covered- 1) earlier that same day at the Catholic Church, 2) here at the Museum, & 3) at Disney World or actually Disney Springs a few weeks prior.

I hiked Shark Valley & saw at least seven alligators more from the car as I was leaving. Guy wearing a Packers hat & his wife asked me to take their picture . rig tried to pass me on the Cypress preserve 11:15 freaking stupid truck driver in a big two-way highway . I was driving the speed limit & as he rambunctiously passed there were cars coming & he was NOT going nearly fast enough to make a safe pass - so either he had to back off & return behind me which he wasn't going to do or I had to hit my brakes or there literally would have been some sort of collision. If I had not actually slammed my brakes to allow him in , & that's not the way you're supposed to pass, there would have been an accident .

If you're NOT able to pass safely with enough speed you DON'T make the other driver slow down to allow you to pass- that was really bad driving. I wish I had gotten his license plate to . This road has a lot of wildlife & report him. He could have caused a serious deadly accident there's tourists driving up & down it going the speed limit , but there's locals & truckers who want to go faster . They've been down this road so many times they get angry behind you. It's very frustrating . I wish they'd go somewhere else if they don't like driving down this road. if you live in in Florida & hate tourists you better move somewhere else. Then I also saw a dead turtle on the road which is another proof of overly- aggressive driving - if you can't avoid a turtle crossing the road you know you're driving too fast; or alternatively they intentionally hit it & . slow down. There was a you're a sick puppy if you're trying to kill a turtle with your car dead alligator as well 1128 . Big Cypress preserve - now that's a great place to see alligators.

That's even better than shark alley & NO national park fee. I missed this place last time I came thru here. Lots of active wild alligators in the water right by the road. And I saw a monster gator tons of white at a different location - the 10,000 Islands National Wildlife Refuge Marsh Trail birds 3:45 to 4:45. A tourist #prayerWalk ing by said "Have you ever seen anything like this before? " as if I was a local yokel. I said "no never " & laughed. January 26th Tuesday: I slept in Naples. #WalmartEvangelism ✝ -& spent $50 on groceries. Then over to the Naples Botanical Garden $20 entry fee -a bit too pricey . Suddenly my brake warning light station & asked the guy flashed on -never seen that before. So I pulled into a little gas working there "Can you check if my brake lights are on when I push my brake pedal ?" He watched for a few seconds & said "Yes they're all on" & I said "Why would my brake warning light come on?" & he said "Probably it's a glitch with the sensor". Later I found out it was indeed a glitch - a torn wire near the brake pads is causing these false warning signs. So I can fix it for $700 or just ignore it . I'm choosing to ignore it for the time being.

Naples Reserve small 10:30 to 10:45, Lowdermilk Park requires paid parking & a there's a warning sign re red tide,11:15. , Clam Pass - $8 parking. Guy said "red tide is very slight today". Vanderbilt Beach 11:40, Delnor-Wiggins State Park $4 entry fee ( I've been here before - in fact I think that may have been the same Ranger as the last time I was here taking the entrance fee) . Found a HUGE sand dollar while snorkeling- no red tide here at the moment -but they do have it sometimes. Ranger lady said "the fish are dead because of the fertilizer ".

They're using too much fertilizer on their lawns & golf courses around here & it goes into the ocean & causes problems. P116 so I stayed at Wiggins for a little while - took two-mile #prayerWalk along the beach - lots of bland tourists from the northern states -also did a little bit of evangelism in the parking lot . I call what I do 'destination evangelism'. I'll talk more about that later. Near where I sat on the beach after swimming there was a family & they had started setting up at the picnic table behind me. coffee mixed with butter -that's my new thing putting butter in the coffee - it's supposed to be good for the taste & actually healthy. For so long I had avoided using butter . I thought it was fattening. But then I started reading more about it & realize we actually need some butter - it's good for you in some ways & now I'm consuming it voraciously. But make sure you buy the organic grass fed butter & preferably saltless . After that I went to the Audubon Corkscrew Sanctuary & hiked 2 Miles there as well (Crew Bird Rookery, Bonita Springs) 2:30 to 3:30 . First I saw a baby gator on the path & another baby gator swimming & then a little farther down there was a huge alligator smack dab in the middle of the trail which caused me to pause as I pondered whether I wanted to pass by or not. As I pondered, another fellow came #prayerWalk ing towards me & I said "There's a big Gator there " & he looked & said without emotion ing right past the " oh yeah, are you going to pass him?" & he just kept #prayerWalk the gator -which didn't even flinch or move - so I surmised this guy was a local & he knows alligators. And I followed him & didn't get chased or bothered. And then I later read a little bit more about alligators & realized humans can outrun an alligator. They have quick bursts but you can outrun them & normally they're not aggressive towards humans. I think I read somewhere else as well that after they eat they just sit there & digest it for a long time- maybe it just had breakfast , but also they have to sit in the sun for a while to warm up their bodies because they're cold-blooded. Collier County Fairgrounds. January 27th Wednesday: slept in Bonita Springs & went Saint Leo 8 a.m., then over to the laundromat 9 to 10 a.m- a tiny little place. Latina lady working there. I was emptying the dryer & then a new Latino lady came in & she could have waited 30 seconds for me to empty the dryer but she tried to start loading her laundry right next to me causing an awkward moment. Also Riverside Park where you can see manatees sometimes but right now the weather was too warm. Then I drove past the old Greyhound dog racing track which just ended in Florida. They finally outlawed all dog racing - now only two states where it's still legal. I actually would like to have seen greyhound racing but some people thinks it's cruel to the dogs. Passed by Florida Gulf Coast University 11:30 a.m. which is a pretty boring campus except near the sports area "dunk city" as they call it . p 118 it's a big campus - 14,000 students says Wikipedia - but too warm & humid here - & this is a bland part of Florida near Fort Myers. Now passing by the Minnesota Twins spring training facility 11:57 a.m. I noticed they spread out the spring training facilities here in Florida much more than they do for the Cactus League in Phoenix where you can drive to all the different stadiums within an hour or so. But here in Florida stadiums are half a day drive away or more (ie as far as Lakeland to Miami). Took a hike at 6- mile slough - not too exciting - 12:30 pay to park, then went over to Bunche Beach (San Carlos Bay) where i tossed a floating coconut like a football & took a swim. Northern tourists sitting with blank stares on their face . p 119 slept in Fort Myers, hiked the Four -Mile Eco Park which is nice- got some good bird pictures there. January 29th Friday: slept in North Port near Deer Prairie Reserve 8:30 a.m. & went to Catholic mass in North Port - heard something about Katie Van Dam an attack helicopter pilot she was a military person talking about her life story on the radio- that was interesting. also passed thru Venice Beach & Pier -kind of a nice area here- supposed to be a lot of good shells on the beach here & supposedly lots of shark teeth as well. so I walked the beach & found a few nice shells but didn't see any shark teeth . City of Nomis 11:39 a.m. Casey Key Road is beautiful. Then i went to the Walmart in Osprey & found some nice shorts for sale on clearance but the fitting rooms are closed so you have to buy it & then go try it on & then return it if it doesn't fit. But the way the lady working there talked to me after I said I asked her if I can try it on - she was rude so I just left. I DON'T want to buy something from that place if they're going to talk to me that way. Message to JimLin - had to try to convince them that the alligators are real here . I sent them a few pictures i took & she seemed dubious whether I had actually taken those pictures myself or if they were real alligators. Yes they are VERY REALthey do exist here in Florida but you have to go to the southern parts. You're NOT going to see them very often in random northern parts of Florida - although I did see a lot in the Tallahassee area at the St. Marks Park a few years back. Although the second time I went there I didn't see any. So it all depends on the specific area & maybe the time of year as well. I bought some more unsalted organic butter for $5 -expensive but worth it. Praying for the angry lady at the Osprey Walmart - I'll never forget her . Atlanta almost upset the Chiefs but Kansas City came out on top.

P122 Arriving at the first Art Museum in Sarasota in a stately building but it actually turns out to be a contemporary art museum which is usually NOT what I like or enjoy very much. I was greeted by a security guard in the parking lot who seemed to have a British accent . he demanded I put a mask on- well he tried to be nice about it but just wanted to make sure I did have a mask which I did - but it kind of puts a chill on things. Plus their admission fee is $15 so I was expecting something pretty great but there were only two floors & they were NOT very inspirational & the watchers watched me too intensely as if they were afraid i was going to touch something -didn't feel like you could relax at all. I mean really I'm paying money just to relax for a while - to get out of the car -maybe sit down . I just don't want to be stared at by people in the art galleries afraid that I'm going to steal a piece of art or something. I mean this is NOT even like Van Gogh or anything like that -come on now. They have more security here than I've seen at some art museums with million dollar pieces. From there I continued North Sarasota & stopped in at the Ringling Museum - that's the real deal so I actually ended up going here twice- first time here today I paid the $5 fee just to see the grounds but couldn't go into the museum. However, on Mondays it's free to see the art museum so I put it on my calendar to come back here in a few days for free rather than pay the $25 fee. Glad to save a little money. It gets tiring feeling like an ATM machine paying everybody for everything. From there I went to the Lowe's & uploaded some videos. Still praying for the military & the mentally ill 10000. Saturday January 30th: I slept in Bradenton at a hotel near the Christian Reformed Church of all places. I just realized it after I woke up & started driving the next morning. my many of my journeys across America - I often search google maps for the Christian Reformed Church in the city if they have one - just to drive by & take a picture. Having grown up in the Christian Reformed Church & being the son of a CRC pastor & the grandson of a CRC pastor & I almost became a CRC Pastor myself - but instead ended up being a non-denom Christian evangelist trying to fulfill the Great Commission. Traffic signals in Bradenton are too long & untimed - spent a lot of time sitting at red lights . glad to get out of here. Lots of big rig truckers all over Bradenton city streets as well. Praying for the unity of the body of Christ & to accept forgiveness 10,000. Started the morning at the Robinson Preserve 8 a.m.which is right by the Tampa Bay (not Tampa city)- & took a 3-mile hike. Then I went over to Desoto National Park Memorial where there is a giant cross & Eucharist pillar to commemorate the landing of DeSoto. From there I went across the bridge - stopping on the other side to cast my line in the Manatee River a few times but it was too weedy there. All I caught was a "grass bass" as they say 11:30 am.

P124 1/30 going over the Sunshine Skyway at high noon & there's a fishing pier here so I pulled over & decided to cast my line . Lots of people fishing but I didn't see anybody catching anything . As I was leaving I saw some kids pull up with wetsuits on & spearguns so . You pay $1.50 to go across the they're going to go IN the water - that's the way to go Sunshine & the fishing pier itself is $4. But you can park before the actual pier for free You have to pay even if you #prayerWalk on to the pier but there's a free section before the pier. I don't think there's many fish here to tell you the truth but people are trying - good sermon material - most people who fish do it with hope (well some people just like to go out there as an excuse to get out of the house) but if you're a real fisherman you fish with hope & a plan - with the best bait for the situation & all the right accessories- & always the hope that you might catch something, and that's the way it is for Christian evangelism as fishers of people - we MUST have hope & confidence which ultimately comes frim God. Without hope & confidence I don't think the Holy Spirit will bless it, & anytime I've caught real fish it's always been when I've been hopeful & optimistic that I will catch some. Likewise evangelism. Continuing over the bridge I come into St Petersburg & at an intersection there's a black man asking for food - so I pull out a can of green beans & gesture - he comes over & I hand it to him & he kind of looked it over like "Do I really want this? " That's kind of weird when you try to help somebody & they have an attitude - he seemed a little cocky. A cocky homeless person. Its NO fun helping a "spoiled homeless person." Entering historic downtown Saint Petersburg p 125 - there's an art museum, pier, the Dali Museum, very crowded Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. I finally found a place to park at the Aquatic Center where they have a big swimming pool & it's right on the beach - although nobody was in the water here on the Tampa Bay. looks really shallow at least at the moment. A lot of beach volleyball players & people #prayerWalk ing for exercise. I took a #prayerWalk myself . Then I left & drove around- this is a neat areafor great old architecture. Passed by the famous Sunken Gardens. Then I went to St Paul 530 evening mass. Two Latinos in front of me came in late & then they wouldn't kneel at the time you're supposed to kneel - for whatever reason I don't know but if the people in front of you don't kneel & you do your head is right in their back so it kind of makes it impossible or very awkward to kneel when the people in front do not do so . Now at St Petersburg Beach & Treasure island, Indian Rocks, now Florida Botanical Gardens for 1 hour #prayerWalking around - there are alligator warning signs but I DIDN'T see any alligators. I think some places in Florida add those alligator warning signs just to add to the allure because tourists want to see alligators but they might even put those signs up in places where there are NOT any alligators -that's my suspicion. Also there's a heritage village herecool bunch of old houses they moved here to save them. forget about her a few seconds later - by that time I'm almost driving over the interstate when suddenly a pickup truck turns quickly in front of me to enter the I-75 Highway NOT seeing the girl on the scooter motorcycle & he just crushes her & my heart sinks - it happens so fast & I hear this crack as he hits her & she goes flying off her scooter & her scooter is demolished. All I could see was a shadow because it was dark by this time . You needed your headlights on & I'm shook up as I call 911 & I can't figure out where I am at at the moment because I had Google maps in navigation mode so it wasn't responding to me & I was too shook up to realize how to change that & he kept asking "What street are you on?" . BY the time I figured out exactly where I was police had already arrived, but the guy on 911 demanded that I stay on the phone because he had to know where I was before he could let me go. Finally figured it out.

The girl who was driving on the scooter is lying in the grass. She's unable to move but is alive thankfully & her eyes are open - she's conscious & she's able to talk a little bit but she is seriously injured. I hope she makes it without being paralyzed or something - I really think that guy in the pickup truck was just going too fast & I had already been thinking about the pickup drivers around Tampa Bay- they're just very aggressive in these new-style pickup trucks. So many times as as I'm driving around Tampa they come up behind me & acting impatient to pass me even though I'm driving the speed limit -maybe adding to their agitation is my out-of-state list. Police officer asked plate. So now I'm praying for the scooter gal -she's on my prayer me & another driver to wait a few minutes so he could ask us a few questions. All I could tell him was that I saw him turn in front of me & hit her & that's all I know. But what he was fishing for was whether there was a working headlight on the scooter. Apparently the pickup driver was saying that she didn't have a headlight or that it was a dim headlight & I couldn't recall back at the Lowe's whether she had a headlight or not because there were overhead streetlights. I THINK she did but I couldn't swear to it & its impossible to tell after the fact because her scooter was demolished.

P130 February 2 Tuesday: slow down pick up trucks - I even made a tweet about it . First I go to Blessed Sacrament Church which is really small - I arrive early in the parking lot & a priest walks by my car as if he's going to another building but it looks like he's trying to see who's in "the California car" -made me feel uncomfortable. So I left without going into the church- too small - no way to disguise yourself as a regular attendee . Then I go to the Lettuce Lake Park at 9:30 a.m. -nice boardwalk along the river- lots of birds- no alligators . Nice lookout tower as well & they have canoes & kayaks you can rent but it was closed at the time. Then I go to St Paul's church for noon mass. Still praying for scooter girl. After that I stopped at the Lowe's theater which is & did some video uploads & then I went over to the Veterans AMC movie fully open unlike so many other movie theaters across the country. Florida is more open than anywhere else & they have a wide variety of movies here as well at least 10, whereas some of the AMC's only have two movies at each theater . And I have my $20 AMC gift card that I got for donating blood, so I go to see "Wonder Woman 1984" . II like Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman even though this film did not get as good reviews as the first one. I thought it was decent although it was slow & kind of lagged at times- a little bit too much soap opera romanceher co-star in the movie is Chris Pine (plays the boyfriend) among others but it was Pedro Pascal playing Max Overlord who stole the show . As we enter the store he calls me "brother" as if he's a fellow Christian. at February 5: I slept at Holiday Inn in Fort Walton & I first went to Mass at St Mary Church 8:15 a.m. & sat behind the class of elementary school kids - a big belly priest came by & talked to the teacher right in front of me for a few minutes . From there I left & went back into Destin to the snorkeling spot where I had snorkeled before in the middle of the summer a few years ago. It's a great spot -lots of fish- but in February it was pretty cold & even though it was cold I went in the water intending to snorkel but there there was no visibility - the water was cloudy.

There were a few models being photographed out there. I only stayed about 30 minutes after swimming a few laps for exercise. Back in the vehicle I'm praying for the unity of the body of Christ , plus Africa . I tried to stop the squeal on my engine with some spray that I already had but it didn't work so I bought some special belt spray & tried that - it seemed to work but periodically it keeps coming back -so I spray it again . Now it's raining at about the same place it rained last time I came through here. And there's Hurlburt Field 1022 a.m. Mary Esther Florida.

The rain is still coming down. I use my umbrella the Cathedral from my car . Afterwards I explore Mobile which has an annual porch decorating contest & they really do it up for Mardi Gras which is coming in a few weeks & they also normally have a parade & today would have been that day apparently - but it was canceled because of covid & of course it's canceled in New Orleans as well. Too bad so sad -one of the signs on a porch says "Do they really think they could cancel Mardi Gras"? Maybe there will be an unofficial parade later on. First play by Brady - a pass , 2nd play run, 3rd play incomplete pass & they have to punt, first series by the Chiefs 3- yard run. 1st play 2nd big tackle . Now it's 3rd & 7 & they make it to the 47-yard line -first down- but then they can't get another first - so they punt.

Bucs 2nd possession - first play 13-yard run, 2nd play they lose yards. 3rd play big loss- now 4th & 14 & they punt. The sunset is in my eyes as I'm driving, Chiefs 2nd possession- first down get five, Now 2nd & five &another gain of five- 1st down. City of Maybank 549 p.m. Gain of 11 on another run by Mahomes. 2nd & 5 now incomplete to endzone but offsides penalty on the defense gives another first down . Now another incomplete - 2nd & 10- they lose a yard.

Now it's 3rd & 4 & an interception - but a holding penalty before the play - big break for Tampa Bay. 1st down again. Now 3rd & 5 incomplete. 40-yard field goal is good but offside against KC gives Tampa Bay another first down & they go down to the end zone- touchdown gronkowski again. Now it's 14- 3 ! THAT was a HUGE offside by the Chiefs . Kansas City is moving & they manage to get a field goal so it's 14- 6. But Buccaneers come right back- long drive & another TD pass - this time to Antonio Brown makes it 21- 6 halftime. P166 2nd half begin : Kansas City starts with the first possession & they march down the field & get a field goal making it 21-9.

Buccaneers get the ball & they get a first down & few more & then 3rd & 4 - a gain of 12 & then a a 24-yard pass to Gronkowski . And a 27-yard touchdown run by Leonard Fournette makes it 28-9. Wow -seems like Buccaneers are starting to take a commanding lead but there's still a lot of time left . Now the Chiefs take over & Bucs intercept Mahomes. A 52-yard field goal shortly again & they are going for a touchdown later gives Buccaneers a 31-9 lead . KC has the ball on 4th & 9 & they are STOPPED. That was huge -the clincher. P174 Now at Carlsbad Caverns I watched a 17-minute film inside the visitor center - at least that IS open & I #prayerWalked the nature trail- I wanted to see the opening to the cave called the amphitheater where the bats fly in & out in the evening (only at certain times a year) but they actually stop you before that -where they take the tickets. So I took the nature trail & saw the amphitheater from a distance. There's also the Slaughter Canyon cave around here. On the road again now entering Texas 10 a.m. - past the Guadalupe National Park 1017 high winds . haha there's justice - the guy in the pickup who kept pushing behind me & finally passed me - every now & then you get some instant he just got stopped for speeding hahaha right on justice or karma. There were two people at the Hot Springs when I walked up - I think I kind of surprised them. From there I went over to Sunset Beach around 1 p.m. - took a #prayerWalk & just sat there in the sun for a while. counted the barges many more than I've ever seen - I counted about 32 . Apparently because of covid there's not enough dockworkers & or truck drivers in the containers are backing up not even enough space & the barge is just have to wait out there in the ocean some waiting for seven days. From there I drove back over to Palos Verdes - Redondo Beach -made it to St Margaret Mary for 4 p.m. mass- they're still doing it outdoors here while some in OC are indoors after the Supreme Court ruling said it's okay. P187 February 14th Sunday: 9 a.m. I went to Rolling Hills Covenant Church -first time back there since March of 2020 when it was still indoors -now they're under the big top tents in the parking lot & have all the technology set up . Fisher up the hill is back inside -I went there for a little while but actually just observed from the outside. It was actually kind of fun when they had it briefly outdoors - a little more unruly & less people trying to impress with fancy suits . By the way there's some churches that are so well off that you get too many of the lawyers & accountants taking jobs as ushers or deacons or greeters just as a way to pad their resume & they become too professional inside the church. It sometimes feels robotic & artificial rather than a place where you can relax a little & socialize & feel less judged & concentrate on being with the body of Christ in fellowship and worshiping and praising the Lord. From there I went to St Lawrence Martyr down the hill where they're having Mass both inside & outside depending on the time & day. And I went to Redondo Beach for a #prayerWalk & swim. Then for evening mass I went to American martyrs in Manhattan Beach- they're still combination indoors /outdoors but not using the main sanctuary. . Last Afterwards I stopped over at the Ralphs & bought some butter, peanut, butter, & bread few days I've been praying for Australia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, the elderly, & of course PTL mug. I randomly choose a new country to pray for everyday until I pray for every country in the world .

P 187 February 15 Monday: 8 a.m. St James Church is back inside -in the big sanctuary. I ✝ evangelism, & took another peeked in but didn't go all the way in. Did some maps #prayerWalk & swim at Redondo - powerful waves - the water is cold but refreshing.

Church again indoors. Then I February 16th Tuesday: 8 a.m. went to St Lawrence Martyr & half swim at continued black-&-white dictation progress, took another #prayerWalk Redondo - sunny but windy. Waves were kind of mushy. Continue black-&-white dictation.

Scheduled payment to Capital One for $9, & 222 to Auto Insurance, & also scheduled a blood donation. Had a lunch of beets, nuts & raisins . Recent prayers for Zeeland, South Africa , & PTL MUG, Hoodship breakthrough 10,000 10,000. February 17 Wednesday: stopped in at the office around midnight . Then I went & donated blood at 8 a.m. & from there I went over to the unborn rally outside the Planned Parenthood in nearby Tustin - holding my sign & praying for the unborn . #WalmartEvangelism ✝ in Irvine- a guy was asking for signatures to recall Newsom - I've already signed it but he said I could sign it again if I signed it before the end of last year. I passed out a few Christ cards in the parking lot & one lady snapped at me persecuted for righteousness sake. Back on the road a cement truck started honking at me wanting me to go faster. Well buddy, you can pass me if you want but I'm driving the speed limit . Good grief -spoiled white boy driving his daddy's car - reckless behavior - & that's how bicyclers get hurt pretty badly or when cars DO hit the door its the end of your door & it's YOUR fault -the one who opens the door. But it messes up the other car's front end as well. p190 Another problem around here is that LA people don't apologize - when I say LA I mean all of Southern Cal including OC. February 19th Friday: St. Vincent de Paul Beach - back here for the first time in a while - they're indoors again. Now at the dental appointment 11 a.m. in the building across from empty Disneyland - a student named Aya does the evaluation & says my teeth are looking much better than last time -my dental hygiene is improving. She even knew I was using an electric toothbrush without me telling her. I wonder how she knew that? Next appointment for cleaning is March 3 at 7am. One problem is that I'm grinding my teeth so I wanted to get a new mouth guard for when I'm sleeping. They made one for me last time but then I talked to the supervising doctor & she said those are not actual mouth guards - they're too fragile. Not sure what they are then but it did work for me. She thinks I should purchase a real mouth guard made at a dentist for $350 & I'm not sure I want to invest that much money given the way I chew through things. I've also tried football mouth guards which are molded to your mouth using boiling water but they're a little too thick & I chew on them as well. Now I'm trying chewing gum & it's actually working - so I might just stick with this big wad of sugarless gum in my mouth. I can take it in & out & it'll last for a while & its cheap.

After the dental appointment I go to the Wendys near the Crystal Christ Cathedral & buy a large Frosty from a lazy female Latino clerk going thru the motions - she called me honey or sweetie which is incredibly INAPPROPRIATE for my age. I'm 54 years old now & a productive member of society -well educated and a good citizen. But that's how these passive aggressive Latinos operate in southern cal. confront them about it they lie like little chickens and say they meant it affectionately or respectfully - so the best thing to do is to mirror them - however they address you- you say the same back to them. I spend the rest of the day working on red dictation. Then I go to stations of the cross at the Christ cathedral at 6:30 p.m. & of course this used to be the Crystal Cathedral founded by Robert Schuller and the reason why my family moved to SoCal back in 1984 and so it has a lot of significance to me even now after it's changed hands because it definitely changed the trajectory of my life forever.

February 27th: 8:45 a.m. making another blood donation. This was NOT a good experience . I decided this would be my last time here . Then I go over to the evil Planned Parenthood for The Unborn rally - holding my sign . From there I go back again to the Walmart in Irvine. This time I bought some new shorts & a new t-shirt & some skin lotion. Problem is they DON'T allow you to try clothes on anymore because of covid- so you have to hope that it's the right size otherwise you have to come back and return it and wait in line and all that crazy stuff . I browse a copy of the OC Catholic - the diocese newspaper for Orange County -& they're actually showing an article here about the Bible Biden used for his inauguration -like they're giving him legitimate respect calling him a Catholic - even though they know he's totally AGAINST pro-life & he's FOR abortion - which means he should not only NOT be allowed for communion at any Catholic church but he should be excommunicated . VERY bothersome that they're giving him respect, maybe more so than they ever showed to Trump just because he calls himself Catholic & they want to identify with him as such. The Bishops in a lot of these Catholic Dioceses are very weak . Now it's actually getting pretty warm 11 a.m. supposed to be around 70 degrees today.
