Annie Flowers MARIE

Annie Marie
Annie Marie Flowers was born to Charlene Flowers and the late Jimmy Lawson on February 24, 1989. On that day, God dispatched a warrior’s spirit into a sweet baby girl who blossomed into an extraordinary young woman. Annie was a joy to her family, friends, and everyone she encountered. Her laugh was contagious, her smile was radiant, and her spirit lit up every room she entered. Annie was a devoted mother who loved her boys fiercely. She made it her life’s mission to ensure they had everything they wanted and needed. She loved cheering for her sons at every sports game and celebrating each accomplishment, big or small. Annie was their biggest fan, always on the sidelines with pride in her eyes and joy in her heart. She worked as an office manager for Grace for Today Home Health Agency, carrying out her duties with grace, dedication, and compassion. Her work ethic and kindness touched the lives of many. Annie found God at an early age. She was baptized and attended Nelson Chapel Church before later becoming a member of West Camp, where she worshiped faithfully until she took the Master’s hand and heard Him say, “Well done, my child.” She attended South Panola High School in Batesville, Mississippi, and proudly graduated with the Class of 2007. Annie is preceded in death by her beloved son Braylen Flowers; her father, Jimmy Lee Lawson; her maternal grandparents, Charles Flowers Sr. and Ruby Tine Turner; and her paternal grandparents, Joe and Lonnie Lawson. She leaves to cherish her life and memory her parents, Charlene and Danny Scruggs of Sardis, MS; her sons, Jamarcus Flowers and Jimmy Flowers of Courtland, MS; her sisters, Felecia (Andre) Brown of Charleston, MS, and Jennifer (Melvin) McHenry of Lawton, OK; her nieces, Amaya Flowers, Dymond Flowers, Katlyn Flowers, Krystal Flowers, and Rubie Flowers; her nephew, Kyngston McHenry; and her Goddaughter/great-niece, Journiee Flowers. She also leaves behind a special friend, Adam Morgan; her uncles, Raphael (Lena) Flowers, Charles (Shelia) Flowers Jr., and George Flowers; her aunts, Patty (Terry) Sheeks, Latosha (Jeremiah) Sanford, Gwendolyn (Eric) Winston, Barbra (Joe) Rudd, Allison Lawson, and Flora Lawson; and one special aunt she cherished spending time with every day, Mary Walls. Her special cousins, Barry Flowers, Laquisha Walls, and Brittany Gleaton, Denise Corbett Davis, Roleisha Storey, Erica (Andrew) Cooper, and Dynyel Presley along with a host of extended family and friends, will forever hold her memory close.

To My Sons My dear boys, I did not leave you— I only stepped into a quieter room. Love does not end where breath does, and mine still moves toward you every day. I see the men you are becoming, strong I ways you do not yet recognize. Every choice you make with kindness, every time you stand back up—I am there. Do not carry guilt where grief belongs. You honored me simply by being my sons. The lessons you remember, the laughter you keep, Those are the ways I remain alive. When life feels heavy, pause and listen— that calm you feel is my hand on your shoulder. Live fully, love bravely, forgive yourselves often. I am proud of you, always, and I am never far.
Love, Mom
For you Mom I still reach for the phone some days, forgetting silence answers now. Your voice lives in the quiet moments, in memories I didn’t know I’d need so much. You taught me strength without ever saying the word, love without conditions, patience without limits. Even when I walked my own rough roads, your belief in me never wavered. I miss the way you knew my thoughts before I could find the words. I miss your laughter, your guidance, your steady presence in a world that keeps moving. Though I cannot see you anymore, I will carry you in everything I do. I am still your son, and always will be, Loving you beyond goodbye.
Love, Your Boys
My Daughter, Always I carried you first in hope and heartbeat, then forever in ways time cannot touch. Even now, when the house knows your absence, your presence lingers in the smallest light. You taught me wonder without knowing it, how love could deepen without asking permission. Your questions still echo in my thoughts, guiding me toward answers I never expected. I did not lose you- you became part of me, woven into breath, memory, and meaning. Every quiet strength I hold comes from you, every moment I choose to keep going. If love alone could close distances, you would be here, laughing beside me. Until then, I will speak your name in my heart, my daughter, my wisdom, my forever. Even though your wings were ready my heart was not my precious baby girl.
Love, Mom
Special Sister Sister, since you passed away life just hasn’t been the same. we would move heaven and earth to have you here with us again. The time we spent together meant the world to us. Your laughter and your precious smile as we grew up so happily, I’m so grateful for the 36 years we had and the closeness That we shared. Your heart was so kind and thoughtful. We always knew you truly loved us and you were wonderful “Baby sister”. We miss you! We lost a very special part of us!
Love, Feleica and Jennifer
My Annie Marie, From the moment I laid eyes on you I knew you were special! Your vibrant aura attracted me from a distance, emphasizing your inner beauty, so rare and impeccable. Our first conversation was imperative to our future, yet lighthearted and playful; leading to our first date so memorable, which I am forever grateful. Watching the sunset at the lake while feeling the evening breeze, made me realize that you were the one who would eventually have me on one knee! Although God had other plans, precious memories will make me stronger as a man! You taught me to love whole heartly and sincere, I will cherish you always and forever my dear!
Love always, Adam
Auntie From your favorite Niece, And All of us who loved you. I speak first, because you always said I could, but every word I say carries their hearts too. You made us feel seen in different ways, each of us held by your steady love. You remembered our stories, our laughter, the small details that made us who we are. In your presence, we were never just children— we were becoming, and you noticed. We learned kindness by watching you give it, strength by seeing how gently you carried pain. Even now, your voice lives in our choices, guiding us when the world feels uncertain. We grieve together, nieces and nephews bound by the love you gave so freely. You are not gone from us---you are multiplied, living on in every life you helped shape.
Love, Your Nieces and Nephews
Annie You came in this word as my cousin and grew uo to become my beautiful surrogate daughter who when I rocked you rolled. It was always a great adventure rather we were celebrating each other of out with the kids. Me saying let’s take this trip to the moon and your response what time to be ready. You were my Annie Mae to my Ike; the memories and great times will forever be with me until we reunite but this hole in my heart will never heal. I love you forever and always.
