Tandom in-line rotary car dumper can unload coal at rates up to 5,000 tons per hour. The shiploader travels the length of the pier and is rated at 8,000 tons per hour.

Norfolk Southern Railway Company Concrete deck on concrete piles, with rubber and timber fender system, supports steel superstructure and two traveling loaders.

Two tandem car dumpers dump four hopper cars to two 96-inch-wide conveyor belt systems, feeding the two loaders at a rate of 5,000 tons per hour each; loading is on the north side of the pier. Loaders are equipped with telescopic chutes.
