Sapulpa Community Theatre invites you to celebrate their 35th anniversary by joining them for a season of “Classic Nostalgia,” with presentations of well-known works and an evening of original plays by local playwrights. The organization’s season includes “State Fair,” “Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some),” local playwright showcase “Etcetera, etcetera,” “Death of a Salesman” and “Quilters.” Opening the 2013-14 season is “State Fair,” presented October 4-6 and 11-13. The play, adapted from Phil Strong’s novel of the Frake family’s adventures (and misadventures) at the Iowa State Fair, was itself

later adapted by Rodgers and Hammerstein into the big-screen musical of the same name. Audiences may not be as familiar with “Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some),” scheduled December 6-8 and 13-15, but as the title suggests, they’ll know the source material. The show centers on three actors who decide to perform every Christmas story ever told and sing every carol ever sung. Families are sure to enjoy this madcap romp through the holidays. “Etcetera, etcetera,” scheduled February 7-9 and 14-16, is sure to be new for everyone, as SCT, in (continued on page 22)
