In 2023, we launched our most sustainable sunglasses yet - the Malizia. Designed in partnership with Boris Herrmann and Team Malizia, a professional sailing team which aims to inspire ambitious climate actions together with its partners. The team carries the United Nations SDG wheel and the “A Race We Must Win – Climate Action Now!” message on the sails of its high-tech racing yacht Malizia – ‘Seaexplorer’, which is equipped with solar panels and hydro generators, as well as a mini-laboratory to collect valuable ocean data for the scientific community.
Malizia Mangrove Park Approximately 1/3 of the world’s mangrove stocks have been destroyed over the last 40 years. We are proud to be doing our part to support Boris Herrmann’s Malizia Mangrove Park project. We plant 10 mangroves for every pair of Malizia sold.

ADRIANA BROWNLEE RECORD-BREAKING HIGH-ALTITUDE MOUNTAINEER. Adriana Brownlee accomplished her mission to become the youngest person to climb the world's 14 highest peaks, each towering above 8,000 meters. Aged just 21 years old, she became the youngest person to climb K2 - a mountain known for its high fatality rate and technical difficulty. Fueled by determination and her spirit of adventure, Adriana has conquered these giants, including, Mount Everest, Manaslu, and Annapurna. Despite setbacks along the way, she remained determined to complete her 14 peak challenge smashing several world records along the way. Beyond setting records, she seeks to inspire other women to pursue adventures in the mountains, and now co-runs her own trekking and expedition company, AGA Adventures.

GELJE SHERPA RECORD-BREAKING HIGH-ALTITUDE MOUNTAINEER. Growing up in Nepal, Gelje followed his father’s footsteps to become a guide in high altitude mountaineering and climbed his first 6,400 metre peak when he was just 13 years old (against his father’s will). He worked hard to climb the ranks from kitchen boy, to porter, Icefall Doctor (one of the most dangerous jobs in the world), and now Mountain Guide. Recognized in Nepal and beyond as one of the world’s most successful mountaineers, the list of accolades that Gelje holds is outstanding: 40 summits of the world’s 14 highest peaks (all over 8,000 metres), 8x summits of the world’s tallest mountain, Mount Everest, Highest ever solo rescue on Everest, Youngest person to climb K2 in winter, and opened a route on the Nepal side of Cho Oyu.
