A curious bovine gazes at the camera in Briones Regional Park, one of the East Bay Regional Parks. Grazing animals in the parks help maintain habitat for resident plants and animals and to help prevent wildfires. Every year, 5000 cattle, 1,000 sheep and 1,000 goats are grazed on parklands.
